Not what it once was
The good: Check in was easy and tower suites have a separate check in area. The concierge for the tower suites (Isabelle) was excellent!! A pleasure to work with. Pool staff was friendly and while the prices for everything are ridiculous it is expected. That’s where the good ends. The bad: We had a salon tower suite. Over our 4 night stay the room was serviced ONCE ( in fairness we also had turn down service that same day) but that’s it… room was never serviced again.. no towels no bedding, no replacement of soap, bed never made up, nothing it appeared that they never entered the room again. The gym which is usually great would not allow yoga, well they would allow it with sneakers on (did not matter if you had socks on… I asked, or if you were confined to your mat) which is to say they don’t allow it. I am a frequent traveler and have been all over the world and have never had this issue. More recently I have found more opportunities for yoga practice as more people seem to be doing it. If yoga is important to you or your culture this is not the hotel for you. Very unlucky. Sad because have had many excellent prior stays however, with all the options available will likely stay elsewhere next time

Wynn SW Steakhouse Poor Service!!!
We have been a loyal Wynn guest for many years. We go a usually 2 to 3 times a year. Though it is still the best resort on the strip the service has slipped over the last couple of years. It’s more difficult getting drink service, restaurant service has fallen. The only up side was registration desk team, they were great. SW Steakhouse where we celibate birthday dinners ever year has lost its service excellence. We just returned from a visit and overall it was fine but the SW Steakhouse service we very poor. We host did a good job getting us a nice patio table we requested, that’s was the only positive. Our server never introduced himself, never acknowledged it was for a birthday! The support serving staff was no existent we had to flag down servers a few times for any drinks and basics!!! Our server would be at the table next to ours and never come over to check on us. I am not sure what has happened but we will not go back, which is unfortunate since the food is still good but at around $200 a plate you deserve excellent service as well.

Noise issue
I wanted to love Wynn and Encore but unfortunately it has not been a good experience. I stayed in both Encore and Wynn. At Encore, I was on 36th floor facing the golf course. Im currently staying at Wynn, on the 51st floor facing the pool club and the strip. It has been SO loud at all nights Ive been staying at that I haven’t been able to sleep. It is currently 2:40am and I can hear the songs so clearly as if its playing right next door. Honestly, idk how anyone can sleep in this noise. Ive talked to someone who works here and sounds like many have also been complaining. Hopefully Wynn will address the issue soon. I recommend visiting Wynn and Encore to see the decor and all but i would recommend staying somewhere else 😬

DO NOT BOOK!!!!
DONT BOOK WITH THEM!!!!!! The absolute worst customer service I’ve come across in YEARS EVEN IF THERES A HURRICANE COMING THROUGH AND YOUR FLIGHT IS CANCELED, THEY WILL STILL TAKE YOUR MONEY!!! Booked a hotel with hotels.com from August 18th-21st. I wanted to cancel because there was a hurricane/flood warning then their policy was that I would lose one night. I decided to go anyway because I didn’t want to lose the $400 a night for the room When I got to the airport my flight was canceled because of hurricane Hilary. I wouldn’t be able to get on the flight until the next night (but southwest can cancel at their discretion,So I would lose a full 24 hours. I wanted to cancel the trip bc at this point I would only have 1 full day left so why even bother going, also run the risk of not even getting on the plane since there’s a hurricane. then called the hotels.com again and they talked to the Wynn people and and asked them for leniency. The agent put me on hold for 25 minutes. He was working so hard and practically begging Wynn to show me mercy. It did not work. Wynn would not budge. Disgusting, greedy hotel. If I can get 10 groups with this review to not book with them it’s worth it. Even If you have a death in the family, and you want them to give you a refund/show you leniency, They will say NO. And “rules are rules” DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Rotten Buffet
We went to the Wynn Hotel dinner buffet expecting great things, especially for $80.00. What a HUGE disappointment. An average selection of food. I've seen more food with much better presentation at other hotels. I also noticed a dead fly in the food at one of the stations and had a bit of old food still stuck to a "clean" plate that I was going to use. Also dealt with stomach cramps afterward. No I didn't overeat. Spend your money elsewhere!
