I went there in May For 3 nights and loved it from the Check-in. Jarien(hope I spelt his name correctly) who assisted me with the check-in was easy going even though it was busy. The guys at the inside & outside bar were very friendly (sadly I didn't remember their names) and I can't forget Dre & Lynden from Entertainment were the two who always had that place rocking. Loved it so much that I had to book a night there in October for an overnight connecting flight but I'm already looking in to book again for a week or more very soon this year. Can't wait to be back :)
Had Higher Expectations
If you're looking for a luxury vacation with top service - this is not it. You basically get what you pay for... Explains why this resort was much cheaper than others. The resort is very old and outdated - especially the rooms. I read a lot of reviews prior to booking and I took the chance. Pool water was always dirty. The grounds were outdated. Resort is very small. The food in the specialty restaurants was the best - buffet very below average not much options and like others said food was either warm or cold in the buffet. We added lobster to our meal in Edgewater Grill it was delicious. Drinks were very good. Younger staff was much nicer - others had an attitude problem as if they hated their jobs - Especially at the bars. There was no high, fun energy around the resort. Not much entertainment - during the day very boring no music by the pool No real entertainment at night. We did a couples spa - very nice experience. Honestly, I would not return unless they renovate the terrible, moldy bathrooms in the rooms and get better entertainment. It has alot of potential if they get the right management :)
Warwick the best hotel to stay if you are looking to travel to the Bahamas 🇧🇸 😉
First i just wanna say kudos 👏 to the beautiful and most friendly staff i have ever seen since traveling......the front desk staff was more than awesome 👌 the tall thick handsome guy lol. Victoria who was always ready to help and ensured we kept a smile throughout our entire stay, marvin who was just so friendly and sweet and not to mention shama ...OMG she is the sweetest person EVER.....she kept checking on us to ensure we were ok and whatever issue we had she took care of it right away. Skinner the bell guy we miss you always wearing a smile and ensured we were having fun. This hotel is a 100% YES... looking to go back in june. Comfortable beds 🛌 fluffy pillows and a always clean room....keep it up guys!!! Warwick all the way.
We are just coming to the end of a two week holiday at the Warwick and it has been brilliant, food has been very good for an all inclusive, with lots of options available , the main buffet and three other restaurants to choose from - make sure you see Debbie in Concierge- she will organise your restaurant reservations as well as your Zumba and Yoga (the classes are really good, Zumba great fun and yoga so relaxing) a special shout out to Sherman for taking pity on me and playing backgammon with me when my husband refused to. Drinks plentiful - mojitos are the best !! Rooms may not be the most modern but very clean, beds comfortable and showers hot - you’re in the Bahamas don’t spend your time in your room!! The staff are all fantastic, thank you for a really wonderful holiday.
I was really hoping to like this hotel but unfortunately the only thing I can say that’s positive is that the hotel was clean. The restaurants really need to up their game. We tried all 3 restaurants and the grill and honestly the food was not good at all. The food at the main/buffet restaurant was probably the best. The beach was ok but the view of barges/cargo boats was unappealing. The drinks at the bar were pretty bad. The hotel was freezing. I have no idea why it was so cold everywhere inside - the halls, elevator, room, foyer.. Their activity schedule is a joke. We waited to go for a walking tour and was told we missed it. There’s a schedule in the concierge room and one in the lobby. These 2 areas are about 50 ft from one another. They had different times on their schedules for activities. They must not communicate. This hotel really needs an overhaul.
