Great service!!
William is amazing! Great service. He was so kind and patient with our big group and our children. He always had a smile. The food was really good and had alot of variety. I would highly recomend.

The service at the Il Porto Fino VIVA WYNDHAM MAYA was excellent and the food delicious 😋 For sure we will recommend this resort and restaurant 👍🏼 This restaurant was very clean and the waiters, Victor and Uciel were always smiling and excellent service 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We was at Portofino restaurant with Viktor and Uciel as server. The service was awesome and the food was very good. I really love this restaurant. The service in whole hotel is great but Viktor is very special

Viva La Cafe
Alexis was very kind and helpful. He sat us quickly and check in on our service. Pastor was very quick and helpful. We had a great experience. We enjoyed a lovely dinner experience with our group of 6.

Do not let negative reviews keep you from booking this resort. My husband and I have traveled to this area of Mexico multiple times over the last 20 years. We were looking for a budget friendly resort but still wanted to make sure it met our needs. This resort is in a beautiful gated community, very clean, friendly staff, decent food, drinks are not water down, if you want more booze you just ask them to add more to your specific drink and they will kindly do so. Small enough to get to and from beach or Buffett, lobby area in only a few minutes. All-around great activity throughout the resort plenty of places to congregate and socialize. Nice little bar area near the front and also a café for coffee in the morning we really enjoyed that. The staff works very hard working at keeping the resort clean and well-kept. Yes it may be older and yes it may need updates but the room was very clean & comfortable . We had hot water and had nice cold AC never any issues. People complained about no more than two water bottles that’s fine if you use common sense you use the water stations to fill your bottles or you walk across the street to the 7-Eleven and buy water to keep in your room! I am kind of a picky eater at times and so is my sister but both of us found more than enough to eat and everything was delicious no one ever starved so the reviews about the food being bad are totally not true. Just be prepared at times you will have to stand in line to get a drink or you may have to get up off your chair while you’re lounging on the beach and get a drink not a big deal for us as we are not lazy we don’t mind walking or standing in line for a few minutes and a lot of times the guys didn’t mind going to get the drinks so not a big issue we don’t have to be waited on constantly we can get up and get our own drinks! There was seaweed in the morning but they did a great job of cleaning it up more so than other resorts in fact of the seven days we were there the beach was clean every day you could get in the water you could swim it was beautiful. All in all it was a nice resort this is the third time we’ve been there and we were pleasantly surprised that it was still just as good as it was many years ago if not better. If you are unable to get a reservation for the à la carte restaurants from the app you go to guest services and they will book them for you a lot of people gave negative reviews because they couldn’t get booked for the à la carte restaurants rather than miss out or not do anything about it they should’ve asked at the desk and they would’ve been helped. People complained about noise in the hallways and people waking them up we did not have any issues with that, our room was 1412 and never did we hear people in the hallways or being too loud or keeping us up. So if you want a nice clean resort that is in a beautiful area and close to downtown playa de Carmen this is the perfect spot and going downtown was also safe we did not feel any threats or feel that we had any worries while we were there! Book your trip and enjoy!
