So-so experience
The air conditioner in our room would not turn on. We talked to someone at the front desk and he said that he would have someone take a look. Still no air conditioner, and the room was uncomfortably warm. We asked again and learned that the room temperature was controlled at the front desk. After 2 days, we were finally comfortable. The light switches are ridiculous. There are multiple lights attached to each panel and it's impossible to see which light is controlled by what button. The fridge is loaded with snacks and drinks, but don't touch them - 9 euros for a small soda. We were told that the in-house restaurant opened at 11am. We arrived at 11:30 and learned that the restaurant was open but they would not serve food until 12. The hotel is located outside of the historic district and we found only one restaurant within walking distance. Taxi fees added up quickly.

Lovely hidden gem in the heart of Rome
A stone’s throw away from the Vatican, what a lovely hidden gem Villa Agrippina is! Fantastic location, great rooms, delicious food and very attentive and helpful staff. All we could have hoped really… Julia at concierge deserves special mention as she was so helpful in getting our day in Rome planned out.

Wonderful hotel experience
It was an absolutely incredible stay for us. From first glance the villa is expansive right in the heart of the city. The driveway vast with smiling porters greeting us from far away to help us with luggage. Our check in process was so kind and enjoyable. The room was beautiful with a california king bed and very soft pillows and comfortable bedding. Checkout was smooth. The restaurant had incredible food. The buffet breakfast is worth experiencing. All in all we are so glad to have stayed here and are looking to go back again!

Beautiful - But Beware the Shower
Highly professional staff, well attired, speak English well. Huge room with a huge bathroom. The only downside is the shower. My friends complained of the same thing. The shower bottom is curved and slippery. The shower controls are unmarked. There is no handrail so getting in and out is really precarious, almost dangerous.

Fantastic!!!!
Loved this hotel. Staff was excellent. I hosted an event here and the event’s staff was beyond accomodating. The breakfast was my favorite part. Everything fresh and delicious and a huge spread! It’s located outside the hustle and bustle of Romes busy city center. Loved the proximity to everything we wanted to see at the same time. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. We were also with somebody in wheelchair. The hotel was extremely accommodating having the rental wheelchair and walker delivered to the hotel the day prior. When in Rome- stay here. You won’t be disappointed.
