Great business arrangements.

Good airport hotel
We had a flight that landed later in the evening, so we stayed one night here before driving across the island. It's a pretty solid option. Here are the positives and negatives: Positives: +: Very clean room +: Pretty good gym, with great views, a few cardio options, and lots of free weights +: Pleasant and helpful front desk +: Convenient for the airport Negatives: -: The walls were super thin, so you heard the conversations in neighboring rooms and the walkway/hallway. -: Our room opened directly to the outdoors, so we accidentally let in a few mosquitoes. -: The shower had only a partial wall, so we got water all over the place.
Looked good but it was not.
Arrived to visit family member. Check in was smooth. Staff was friendly and nice. Our Room was a pool view king bed. Nice pool area, grounds looked pretty clean and maintained. 1) room ac was very loud sounded like a train passing by. Could not carry on a conversation at a normal volume. TV sound was drowned out by the ac. 2) Safe was not operational. (locked) ( no one came to fix) 3) Hotel web page stated that hair dryer and coffee maker were available upon request. Upon making such a request, we were told that none were available. 4) No hot water for shower. (lukewarm at best) Was moved to a second room......No longer a King bed but two queen beds 1) After moving to second room noticed debris in toilet. Flushed the toilet and found that it was backed up. 2) No balcony furniture in this room. 3) AC was quieter, but air did not get cold. 4) This room had only one cover blanket and mattress cover and one pillow on each bed. 5) this room also had no hot water lukewarm at best. 6) No house keeping.. Had to hunt down clean towels everyday for both rooms. Was unable to contact front desk or any of the numbers listed for guest services. No one answered.....Made multiple trips to front desk to address issues. No one ever came, except for the backed up toilet. For the amount of $$$ that were paid for room. Will stay at another hotel in this area.
Stay at your own risk
Welp, this is one of those hotels that sound good in theory. Beautiful lobby, very nice pool, wonderful and friendly staff. But, in reality, it’s an absolute mess. To start of with, these people “offshore” their customer service. You call front desk and you get someone in a completely different country-a a very rude someone i might add. We reserved a double bed room, for THREE people, and that was clearly stated, so when we arrive in the room and there’s only ONE pillow on each bed, we obviously asked for an extra one. Not only was this person unhelpful, this person flat out told me that she “was sorry about my situation but they were under strict instructions not to provide any extra pillows.” I could completely understand this if we were only two people, but how was our daughter supposed to sleep? She simply said that i would have to find my own pillow. When I realized I wasn’t speaking to anyone that was in the actual building i hung up and went to the front desk where they solved the issue, until the next one sprung up. The listing states the amenities. I always read that closely. Although i never use a hair dryer, it’s always nice to have handy. We were caught in the rain and needed it urgently-nope. No hair dryer. Down to the front desk we go again, where they simply say “sorry, we don’t have any available, if they stop working they don’t get replaced.” This is a shame, because we chose to support this Puerto Rican owned hotel. My entire stay was spent dealing with stained towels, dirty bathrooms (there was used soap and body wash that was leftover when we arrived) and just an all around outdated room.
First floor (5 stars), Room experience (3 stars)
The first floor (lobby, restaurants, and pool area) are impressive. The room experience was a different matter. *Note: We usually stay at 2 or 3 star hotels so we do not have high expectations. Everything is clean and the staff is friendly but... •Our room with two queen beds had a total of two pillows (for four people) so we asked for more. •Our fridge didn't work so we requested a new one. •We had two bath towels for four people so we requested two more. •The shower has one temp despite how you turn the dial - warm. •The room temp was quite cold (60 degrees F - usually nice in a tropical climate) but we set it at 74 to warm it up some. After 1.5 hours, it was still 60 degrees. •One bed was missing a flat sheet. It only had a blanket. We went to the lobby and they gave us more blankets (and a top sheet). •At night to warm up the room, we set the thermostat to 'Vent'. By morning it was 59 degrees. ??? So choose between really cold or no air circulation. *None of the aforementioned issues is a problem but collectively it made for an odd stay it what looked like a nice hotel. Pros: Great view from our 6th floor room, first floor, view was 8th floor fitness room balcony, 5-min. walk to beach, close to restaurants & Pueblo grocery store Cons: See above. ►Bottom line: You will probably pay a lot more than this hotel experience is worth.
