I’m going to be real, we don’t have a lot of money, but we maxed out our credit card anyway so we can finally stay at Sapphire Falls! We are 100% satisfied with our financial decision. The moment you step onto the front walkway you’re greeted by Caribbean music and feel like you’ve just arrived to an actual Caribbean resort. The atmosphere is relaxing yet grand. I loved the Edison lights and stonework everywhere. Make sure you go checkout the waterfalls for a nice little romantic view at night. Check in was super easy with smiley and informative “Roxy” behind the counter. Our room was a double queen with lagoon view as well as quick access to the water taxi which was a major benefit of staying here. Room Service for breakfast was top notch. We talked about our delicious eggs throughout the day! Not to mention the incredible service staff who go above and beyond even if you don’t ask. The beds and sheets were so comfy. Shower was really nice. Housekeeping came every day even though I heard from other reviews that you’re supposed to request that. Strong Water Bar is a must if you like trying different dishes and sampling rum from different countries. Our server Casey was attentive and made us feel special. We practically ordered everything off the menu. Fantastic food! Was the perfect vacation date night we were looking for. The pool was incredible. David our pool server was so on top of things, even finding us in the pool to bring our drinks! We were so sad to leave this amazing hotel.

The hotel is nice but you must check the charges on the bill, the rooms in tower 2 with pets is run down and smelly. Some rooms have a tv cabinet that blocks the walkway in the room. There is No excuse for incorrect billing 2 stays in a row, this was my go to hotel, but will now rethink that. They need to work on consistency, seems some at check in are clueless! Valets are very good, helpful kept the cars loading and moving!

Close to the parks, reasonable price and excellent accommodations
Close to the parks, reasonable price and excellent accommodations. We are a family of 5: two adults and three children (11, 9, 9). We all enjoyed the hotel and parks. We had not been to Volcano Bay before, and were presently surprised at the easy access and attractions. Would do it again in the future!

Perfect Family Hotel
Visiting Universal Studios? Book this hotel! We researched a ton of hotels before landing on this one. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. We traveled with our 2 young kids and enjoyed everything about this stay from start to finish. The moment we arrived we all just smiled at the beautiful lobby and knew our trip was going to be great! Check in was quick with such friendly staff members. Room was ready upon arrival even though we were early. When we got to our room the kids were thrilled with the fun view of the pool area and BONUS we could see the Hogwarts castle! A few minutes in while we were getting settled, a staff member delivered a big basket of treats for my sons birthday. He was thrilled and it was such a fun surprise! Every time we asked a question, the staff members happily helped and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed their jobs. We utilized the little market every day for breakfast and snacks throughout the day. Pool area was fun and the perfect place to hang after a long day at the parks. The boat was a fun and easy way to get from the hotel to Universal and City Walk every day. We dined at the hotel restaurant one night and asked to be seated outside. Such a beautiful spot to enjoy dinner and the nice view! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Our research paid off and this hotel made our trip perfect!

Bed was comfortable but room not clean
Gun wrapper and hairs in one of the beds. Shower only had hot option. When asked if I wanted a pool room, ended up getting a view overlooking the highway in the far back of the hotel. Food options close same time as the park so make sure you stock up any snacks prior to arrival back to the hotel.
