Fantastic holiday
Stayed 13th-23 May 2023 with my wife and 19 year old daughter in a poolside family suite in continental building. Great clean room, spacious with separate lounge area and kitchen with fridge microwave etc. Room cleaned daily Hotel pool was great with lazy river and slide. Facilities were good. Bay liner diner was handy to grab hot food after a long park day. Nice bar with friendly staff The ease to get the shuttle bus to the universal parks and City walk and being so close to Volcano Bay was excellent. This is a large 3 star hotel of great quality. Would definitely recommend.

Relax, Enjoy and Adventure
Cabana Bay is the perfect combination of Resort fun at its best. without a high price. The staff is very friendly and the amenities are fabulous. Great location and just so easy. I usually stay at higher end hotels at Universal but after staying at Cabana Bay, I am already booking another trip to go back.

Time Capsule Hotel
Cabana Bay is a magical place for me. As an 80’s baby who loves 50’s culture, I find this hotel to be the closest I’ll ever come to experiencing a glimmer of what it was like to live in that era. Everything is retro and such an enjoyable vibe. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful (and honestly really added to the experience). There is so much to do around the hotel for fun and it’s all set to a 50’s soundtrack. If you’re going to Volcano Bay, stay here! You can walk from your room to the park! There is a secret path! No parking, no hassle!

So GOOD and Glam
Loved it and already booking for January 2024 . Best vacation ever. Rooms were amazing. I didn't hear any one at night, I had the best sleep ever. Rooms were also very clean and had everything I needed. There was so much to do at the hotel, including bowling and a lazy river. I didn't have tine to do all the fun things the hotel had to over so I'm coming back!

2 Star Hotel at a 4 Star Price
Right from the start, parking at check in was difficult. But it was now where near as bad as trying to find our building-even with a map- & a parking place close by as now of the buildings are numbered and they all look the same. Plus parking cost an additional $18 per night! The suite for 6 people was small and the mattresses were hard as college futons! I had to go & get an air mattress or else I wouldn't have stayed. The bed linens were stained on the pullout couch and the spare blanket had large holes. The kitchen and bathroom were set up nicely and the thin wall divider was nice but provided little privacy. The hotel lobby, grounds, hallways & elevator were very nice and clean though the carpet in our room was stained There were several quick-serve restaurants on site which was very convenient though a bit pricey. Lots of choices and the food was not bad. The pool areas were lovely but for a hotel this side, they should have an "adult only" pool. It was difficult to relax, read & rest buy the pool as kids were screaming & crying all the time and it was impossible to go in the pool without constantly being splashed. The lazy river was a nice surprise though you had to buy your own tube. The hot tub, which I enjoy more than the pool, was closed the entire time. It was difficult to find lounger by the pool as they all had towels on them. People would leave without putting their used towels in the laundry so you couldn't tell if they were actually reserved or abandoned. All in all it was n ok place to stay. But definitely not worth $250- $290 a night!
