Amazing Service
We travel 3 times a year to all inclusive resorts. The service at this resort is exceptional! Dorlores at the main pool is a beautiful person inside and out. Francis at the front door always had a smile on his face and always made us laugh, you can tell he genuinely enjoys his job. Miguel our butler checked in with us every day to see if we needed anything. Angel at the lobby bar would see our husbands approaching the bar and already started making their drinks. Breakfast at Helios was our favorite meal, all the servers remembered us and treated us like royalty. Every person at this resort would reply “it’s my pleasure” when we thanked them for anything. The grounds are beautiful and clean, food was good, and drinks are great, some of the best I’ve had for an all inclusive. We enjoyed the live music. We were there for tropical storm Franklin and they did their absolute best to make the best of the rainy days. We even enjoyed the board games they put out in the lobby 😉. The massage and hydrotherapy at the spa was wonderful! Thank you TRS we will be back again to see all you beautiful people!

Lionel is a leader
Lionel Hernandez is an example of an employee you can build a buisness around. He embraced his training but then made a point to go way beyond. He genuinely cared about the success of our trip. Even when he couldn’t help he made sure to follow up the next day with other suggestions. He also wanted to learn what type of experiences we were looking for that they didn’t have so he could make suggestions to Palladium. There were other leaders in the bars and restaurants but not enough to offset the poor service at the bars. The standards at TSA Turquesa bar was no where else. Most bars would change ingredients and presentations based on what was easy. The same exhausted in most restaurants. There was a need for leaders / managers on the floor to handle customers who were willing to spend more. Also to enforce standards during service.

Lied to by staff, horrible experience overall.
My friend and I visited this property at the end of June. Upon arrival we decided to upgrade our room, subsequently requiring a $160 upgrade fee. We willingly agreed to this, no problem. On the second morning of our stay we awoke to a sound of dripping water. We realized there was a leak in the air conditioning unit that was dripping heavily through the ceiling. My passport and wireless headphones happened to get soaked, causing my headphones to permanently stop working. The passport dried out and ended up being ok. Management asked us to move rooms, as the room was not in any condition to stay in. We moved our room, but asked if we could get some sort of compensation, at the very least the money to cover the cost of my broken headphones. We were promised by management that they would refund the upgrade fee that we paid at the start of our stay. The charge was never refunded to us as promised. After arriving back in the states, I attempted to contact the hotel several times via email, and I even texted the concierge we were using at the time of our stay. She said that she would look into the issue for us, but nothing was ever resolved. Furthermore, on the day of our departure, my friend and I became very ill with GI problems which persisted for a week for both of us. I strongly advise against staying at this property.

Really great!
Our stay at the TRS Turquesa was amazing- very relaxing, fun, and beautiful. There were a few minor issues; can be lots of seaweed on the beach, pools are a bit dirty, minor issues with electricity/water in the room, and room service/buffet food didn’t taste the best (some of these problems are weather related- not much they can really do!). None of these minor issues really influence our opinion of the stay because of what we absolutely loved: the food at the à la cartes, great wifi, great (strong!) drinks, and AMAZING service. Seriously, I have never seen such attentive and wonderful staff. From the butlers, the servers, the bartenders, the front desk staff, the housekeeping…everyone was so happy to help and did a wonderful job. You can easily get most problems fixed or any questions answered if you just ask, so don’t be afraid! We both don’t speak too much Spanish which I felt embarrassed about, but the staff members were more than accommodating and we got by pretty well! I would recommend the TRS if you want a relaxing beach vacation where everything is taken care of. We would come back!
