The staff is very rude!!
My name is Glenn Painter from Florida. This hotel is a dump with a very little cardboard closet like a Motel six. When I checked in yesterday. They gave my room that I had booked away to someone else and pawned me of with this piece of crap am . I asked for the front desk supervisor who was very rude to me and my 84 year old aunt. This is my first and Las time at the Mirage!!
Mirage is a good choice
Wonderful stay. Room clean and comfortable. Pool and the music very enjoyable. Can be tough to find a lounge but ultimately something opens up. Best spot behind the waterfalls, some shade and quieter. Casino inviting and enjoyable. Good selection of eating and drinking spots, but very expensive. Try MacDonalds across the road for breakfast. Spot on the Strip makes everything convenient. No coffee maker. If you want to keep something cold fill the ice bucket. Enjoy your stay. .
Excellent hotel perfectly located on Strip
Overall the Mirage is a great Hotel. It is a little older on the strip but it really gives back to you in way of location and facility. if you are looking for glamorous and amazingly beautiful halls - look at a newer place. But if you want a place that is priced well, is clean, has great views of the strip and the volcano, has really good food options that are not too crazy - and I will give a call out to the "Snacks" and the "Pantry" which do a very simple good job for quality food - then it is a great location. Room was clean and attended to every day. Pool was really nice. Walked anywhere! I recommend!
Bugs in the bed, soiled bedding, filth in the bathroom, would not allow me to speak to a manager
Bugs in the bed, soiled bedding, filthy bathroom, layers of muck on every surface. They immediately changed my room but never received an apology. Called front desk and requested to speak to a hotel manager, they would not connect me. Went to the front desk in person 3 times and they wouldn’t allow it either. I specifically stated that I did not receive any type of commendations, not even an apology and they still wouldn’t apologize! They did comp the can of pringles I ate in my room and credited me 1 day of the resort fee, after they promised to credit all days. After returning home, still no credit. Had a survey request from the CEO (not really) but I responded and included the pictures I took of the bugs, pubic hairs, and splatter in the bathroom. No response, no apology… I have the photos!
Wonderful stay! Can't wait to return
I love this hotel! We stayed last year for a few days using the MGM comps and loved it. The pool is amazing, very comfy bed for mine and hubby's problem backs, clean, love the includes iron and ironing board, love the desk/table setup and more...oh and the scent they use as an air fragrance is just heaven!! I have to mention that we stayed at MGM grand for 2 nights on a comp and could not stay the third night due to no comp. Unity gave a comp at Mirage. Huge difference! MGM grand was not horrible, but it was dated, not as clean and an ugly hotel. We've stayed at Park MGM (nice room, unimpressive hotel and pool, Monday Bay (problematic rooms but nice hotel. Mirage is our #1 favorite! They did not send me an online check out, but I just walked up to the desk and checked out in person. Took all of 10 minutes. Nice staff Bummed I was not offered an upgrade but certainly not the end of the world. Oh. And I hot $50 freeplay when opening a Unity account. My Pearl with MGM tra served to Legend. Free parking was nice. Other reviews complained about the refrigerator. These casino hotels almost never offer a refrigerator for guests to use. And if you accidentally pick up a snack, just call the front desk and tell them right away. My adult daughter did this and we were not charged since we didn't use it. Some people may not know of this. There are signs right on the counter and refrigerator stating how they have sensors But our stay...Wonderful again! I want to go back!
