Amazing Views and Location, Mediocre Breakfast
I spent four nights at the Sheraton Waikiki. This was my first time to Hawaii and the location was perfect. You're in the heart of Waikiki with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. This is also a very busy hotel, with guests coming and going at all times. My room had an incredible view of Diamond Head and beach. However, you're paying at least $100 more per might than a city view. The room was on the smaller size, but space was used well. The Japanese-style toilet with bidet was impressive. It was only missing the heated seat that I've also experienced in Japan. I spent a lot of time researching hotels and I'd say that the Sheraton had the best pools. You have a large family pool with slides and multiple swimming areas, but the water was pretty cold. It took me two days to get a lounge chair at the adult infinity pool, but the sunset views were great. On the downside, breakfast at Kai Market was mediocre at best. I tried it on the first two mornings (french toast, followed by pancakes) and the food was lukewarm. It's clearly mass produced and probably kept under a heating lamp. Don't bother paying $30+ for this. The last two mornings I went to the Honolulu Coffee take-out counter. While it wasn't cheap, everything was tasty, particularly my smoothie. The gym was also too small for a hotel of this size. While I didn't have a lot of interaction with staff, everyone was friendly, including the front desk, restaurant servers, and housekeepers. The elevators were also super quick. If I were back in Honolulu, I'd gladly stay at the Sheraton again.

Amazing visit at Sheraton Waikiki Beach
We have had a wonderful visit for business and pleasure at Sheraton Waikiki Beach. The pool area and beach is so nice. We loved Rumfire for happy hour and views of Diamond Head. Room is well designed and full of high end and thoughtful touches. However the absolute best part was housekeeper, Roger, who went over the top to make us feel like guests in his home. His sense of hospitality is beyond anything we have seen before. We felt so at home at the beautiful resort and can't wait to return!

My favorite hotel
I love staying at the Sheraton Waikiki because I always feel at home here. I stay here at least 3 to 4 times a year. The entire staff are always so sweet and kind. Huge appreciation to Logan at the front desk who always takes care of my family, friends, and I every time I stay here. He’s the best! It was my first time hitting Bonvoy platinum status and I got to redeem a free gift bag at the gift store. Sandy and Trina at the store were the sweetest. I’ve stayed at many of the Marriott owned properties in Oahu including both Ritz Carltons, but nothing compares to the Sheraton Waikiki!

Loved location and Views. But Disappointing hotel experience
Disappointing. Location excellent. Bellman, Front desk and housekeeping were excellent. Room was great-excellent ocean front room 31st floor. Odd our king bedroom had extra weird queen bed. Made room crowded and no room for end table next to the bed. we had to take small patio table inside to put next to bed. There was no sofa/couch for us to sit together. Bathroom vanity had no counter space. Biggest negatives. FYI if you rent a car the parking is extremely expensive!! $55 a Day!! Not enough restaurants or bars. Rum Fire was closed due to private event. That left the small The Edge by pool with grumpy bartenders who showed no effort, attention or fun. Food was not great. limited menu. The Kai market always had a long line and there was no buffet, which would have helped handle crowds. No Room service! So your only choice was to stand at the Edge bar and order to go. not fun. Biggest disappointment was the pool area. Extremely crowded. no spots. and folks hogged chairs all day. FYI get down to pool by 7:30 am or you won't get a chair. Biggest disappointment was the pool area/hot tub. at least 10 tiny kids in it all the time. Gross. We all know what little kids do in a hot tub. We did not go in and were disappointed because we were looking forward to a cocktail and hang out in hot tub relaxing. Unfortunately the Sheraton is not for couples looking for a peaceful/zen chill place. It was crowded and loud.
