SPRING BREAK 2023
Good value for the price; Easy check in, ample parking, and friendly service staff. Rooms are spacious with complimentary 2 waters a day, and A/C that works great. Good water pressure; never felt crowded even though it was spring break.. EZ walk to shops, restaurants and beach. I don't understand what others were expecting, or why they said it was horrible? Expect the worst, hope for the best!! We had no issues during the entire stay

Decent beach hotel
Located on a vast expanse of beach with complimentary parking and no resort fees as such. Our room was a good size and overlooked the pool area and sea in the distance. The pool itself is heated but quite small for the size of the hotel. That said, the beach area is vast and cabanas were available (you need a wrist tag). There's also tennis courts and a reasonable size gym. We found the buffet breakfast a bit limited and uninspiring, but with a good selection of pastries and great coffee. The Wi-Fi was not good however as it was pretty slow throughout our stay.

A frown turned upside-down...
I had a reservation at a previous hotel that was overbooked and as a result i was sent to this property. I met Evan at the front desk and explained how upset i was with my experience at the previous hotel and he immediately sympathized with me. Apologized and offered to help me as best as he can. Thankful for him... I then met Marta, i believe she was the Front Desk Manager who greeted me with a smile and understood my request of wanting to see the room before making my decision on whether i wanted to stay or not... she took the time to take me to the room.. apologize for the inconvenience the OTHER hotel caused. She took her time to inform me about all the great amenities this hotel has to offer and really put me at ease. Thankful to both of these wonderful examples of great hospitality. My husband and i will return.

Feeling dated, no real benefits for members, but good food and quiet location
The hotel: While in a good relatively quiet spot with a lot of beach, the hotel itself is feeling dated (as many Sheratons are heading this way / feeling this way since the purchase of SPG + the subsequent pandemic). This is especially true in the rooms with older and run down carpets, small washrooms (we were in an upgraded room), closets, etc. The room hallway floors were also somewhat run down. The main restaurant is nice, and the dinner was excellent. The bar area is fine as most bar areas are - lots of TVs and half-decent list of food/drink options. Benefits for Platinum guests: The hotel did not do much to recognize elite membership benefits. We did get a very slight upgrade, but still ended up on the first floor, in an exit hallway, by a high traffic path to the pool, with the management not doing much to find us another room even after they indicated they would follow up the next day. As well, the club lounge was closed during the pandemic, which meant no benefit re: breakfast (this club lounges was always one of the reasons to stay at a Sheraton vs. some other similar rating hotels) outside of using check-in benefits for a breakfast vs. points.

Read before staying; call and ask about the age of rooms
Checked in on 2/22/23 for five days. As a Marriott Titanium member, the stay was disappointing. 1. The rooms are very old! Tiny bathroom, with no ventilation. Then a small room with one small sink outside the bathroom to get ready 2. They offer beach service for drinks and food. We got it ONLY ONE day. The other days they claimed were short staffed or staff needed in the restaraunt 3. The pool bar closed at 5pm, even on the weekends 4. The rooms have old wall AC's. They didn't work well, often stuck on and had the rooms feeling damp all day 5. They offer a trolley on 26 and 56 past the hour. Never on time 6. Last....getting Uber and Lyft was nearly impossible, and when could get it...20-30 minutes. Uber drivers told us they hated coming into the "beach" becuase of the traffic. This is not the Sheratons fault, but travelers should be aware
