Loud Music and Average Hotel
This is my second time in two years staying at this hotel. They lost a star since my last review. Although the room was clean and the staff friendly, my main complaint as was last year is the loud noises music at night. Hotel management absolutely do not care if you complain or try to may everyone’s stay pleasant. They had a wedding on Saturday night and the base of the speakers can be heard from the 20th floor. There music was competing against their bar music. I spoke with the general manager and he did absolutely nothing. If you want a quiet and relaxing vacation skip this hotel. It’s nothing special and only average. Also the hotel lies about how many floors in their hotel, who does this? The hotel claims 23 floors and they only have 13 floors. Don’t pay extra for a higher floor.

We had a perfect wedding here
We had our wedding at the Sheraton in November 2023 and we had such a positive experience! Our wedding coordinator: Denisse Orozco, was fantastic to deal with. Very accommodating, friendly, always made herself available for us, and added extra special touches on the day-like adding center pieces to our tables because originally we weren’t going to have anything, but she added beautiful flower arrangements free of charge. The wedding ceremony and reception set up was beautiful. The day couldn’t of been more perfect! The DJ played all of our requested songs and the photographer stayed longer than her allotted time to capture all the special moments. We also got to play Spikeball many times with the entertainment staff- Ernesto and D…(I can’t remember his partners name) and they were friendly and awesome to play against (we lost!). Pedro was one of the bartenders/mixologist and he made us special/personalized drinks accommodating my allergies. He was also super friendly and funny. The resort is kid friendly and has many food selections. The only downside to the resort is the beach sand is quite course and rough on the feet, so we didn’t go down to the beach much. I was also never bothered by the time-share people, which was a plus! Overall, we would recommend this resort 100% and would go back.

Excellent Staff
The resort is beautiful, our room was very comfortable, and our housekeeper Silvestra did a marvelous job of keeping our room sparkling clean and well stocked. The servers in the club lounge were also terrific.

Beautiful but looks are not everything.
The hotel grounds were beautiful and rooms were great. The rest was lacking. Food was terrible! Two restaurant had very similar menus with exact dishes and both were gross. One restaurant was closed and found out last day it was moved to buffet area with no signage . Buffet was gross as well except for fruit. We had to eat off resort which made our all inclusive package a waste. Pool bars close early as well as the restaurants. The place is lacking night life activities. No fire pits to sit and chat or games or pool tables. No bars with entertainment other than tv. Most nights and other nights the music was so loud you couldn’t enjoy it . Aggressive timeshare sales tactics every time you walked in lobby made walking in hotel extremely awkward. Overall, beautiful hotel with great pools but won’t be back.

Amazing staff
Sheraton Buganvillas was an amazing resort. The staff there definitely made the trip worth staying at the Sheraton. Joel and Luis in the LA Villita restaurant went above and beyond all expectations. Joel took the time to learn our names, drinks, and allergy needs. Thank you Joel and staff. We will definitely be back.
