We just returned from our vacation at Secrets Tides and let me tell you this place is absolutely incredible. We have been to over a dozen of with Secrets or Breathless resorts and Tides is by far the best resort we have been to. We enjoyed it so much that we actually made reservations for another trip there in November. The staff from the time we stepped out of the taxi was so incredibly friendly. Out checkin was so quick we were early but they had us checked in and in our room in less then 30 minutes. And we got upgraded to an beautiful king suite ocean view room. The restaurants were spectacular and they food was absolutely delicious. I don't think we had anything that we didn't enjoy. One of my absolute favorite things was definitely the Cauliflower Ceviche served at Oceana. It was incredible so light and refreshing. The breakfast buffet was great and we had a great waiter Felex we was lots of fun and very professional and never left us with an empty drink. He was also in the El Patio at dinner and once again above and beyond with his serve. The Fajitas at El Patio were delicious. The Seaside grill had incredible an incredible Filet and creamed spinach oh and their fried cheese you must try it, its not like anything I've ever had before. Portinos was delicious too the besn soup was very good the lasagna was incredible a huge serving and I could only eat about half of it. The Sports bar is a great place too we went in there several times and ate and they have really excellent burgers and wings and a great Sampler platter and Coco Cafe has great snacks the coconut ice cream was incredible. Every night they have a show and a band in the main live music lobby, we enjoyed going and listening to that almost every night. There was a violinist one night who was phenomenal. We meet so many incredible kind and caring people. Our UVC Rep Natividad was incredible she gave us so much information that we have never gotten before from our other meetings and we've been members for over 10 years. She even helped us with booking our next trip to return to Tides in November. Our butler Rayjan was incredible he was there for everything we needed and then some. We even had a special plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a bucket of champagne waiting for us on our first night. He even told us to text him when he wasn't at the resort if we needed anything, and we did because for some reason we had issues with getting our minibar replenished almost everyday (the only issue we had the entire time we were there). Every night before returning to our room we would go to the Preferred bar by the pools and have a couple drinks and we had the most friendly and fun bartenders Sujeidy and Miguel. They would make you any drink you would like wanted even if you had a drink recipe on your phone like me. Oh and the mini beer shots if you haven't tried them, have a few you'll love them!! Rafael was super when it came to getting our minibar replenished after hours we had to contact our butler, like I said just about every day because the day crews never replenished it. He was there within minutes of us contacting our butler with plenty of refreshments and always so friendly and more then happy to help us. The pools were all wonderful. The resort was only at about 50% capacity so the pools were never super busy and the chairs were always available and no problems with people leaving their stuff on them and leaving for hours. If you leave your belongings unattended for to long on chairs they will remove it. So the chairs can be used by others. The beach was really nice and clean. They had crews cleaning them throughout the day everyday. All in all we would have to say this vacation was the best vacation we have ever had and cannot wait to return to Tides in November.

Immutable Best (El Major)
We have been to many all inclusive resorts and Secrets Tides is now our favorite. The staff and our butler Darlin, were all fantastic. The food was very good, the room was perfect, the views spectacular. The entertainment was good, finding Loungers at the beach or at the huge pools was easy, and the service at the pool bars was great. I found my new favorite drink, the Carajillo is fantastic! Try it!

A place to visit!
This resort is absolutely beautiful, and the staff provides a very high level of customer experience. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and beautiful. The entire resort and restaurants are excellent! This is a resort that I will most certainly visit again!

Would definetly recommend!
The staff were amazing! Delicious food and drinks with lots of options. The entertainment throughout the day and the nightly shows give many options for things to do. The bedding was super comfy! Would highly recommend Secrets Tides for couples.

Very modern and very clean! Whomever designed this property deserves an award! They thought about absolutely everything! The Bluetooth surround sound in the rooms ( rooms are soundproof), overlapping curtains to block out sun; the motion lights in the bathroom, dual rain shower and perfect makeup lighting! Shout out to the two Richard’s and Maria at the pool in the back by the beach! Awesome people!🩷
