I can’t actually speak for a regular hotel experience, but we were approached at the airport upon arrival and told if we had a breakfast there and a tour of the hotel that we would receive big discounts on tourist attractions in Cancun. The guy who talk to us mentioned specifically that this hotel is not a timeshare. So, we felt confident we would not be wasting too much time. When we got to the hotel for the tour and breakfast we were told it would be 90 minutes to listen to the explanation of what they were selling. We had NOT been told that it was going to be 90 minutes of our time so we told them we did not want to stay. Immediately the friendliness disappeared. We were never offered a bottle of water or a cup of coffee or anything. The people became very rude and got us a taxi to send us back to our hotel. But the taxi was not paid for, of course, because we did not purchase anything or sit through their breakfast. Lesson learned!! Don’t get suckered into the discounts unless you have lots of time to waste. we were told afterwards it is a vacation club not a timeshare. As if that is different. Anyway, steer clear.

Such an amazing resort! Everything was great. The food, the drinks, the room, the pool and more then everything the stuff, especially - Nahbi, Efrain, Aregy and Charlie! The restaurants are delicious (don’t miss the steakhouse and the dragons), the alcohol is great variety and high quality and more then all it’s the great vibe.

AMAZING VACATION
First, the resort is absolutely beautiful. The staff are amazing people and pay close attention to all of your needs and wants. We had Iran and Mose as butlers and I can not say enough about their customer service skills and they made our experience so special and unique. Great recommendations from them on activities, restaurants, transportation and anything you can think of. The staff at the pools are great too. The staff at each restaurant are really nice and everyone greats you with a smile. All the staff would say “welcome home” lol. Such a great touch of hospitality. All of the food was delicious. We never had a dish that was not delicious. My absolutely favorite was at Olio and the dish I would eat 2-3 times a day was the grilled chicken with potato wedges!! Omg I’m definitely going to miss that dish. I loved every single minute of our stay. The weather was perfect and I felt VERY safe at the resort and every place we went outside of the resort. The taxi service is very safe and they also were very very friendly. We also went to the mall with the Ferris wheel and felt very comfortable and staff even there were friendly. I recommend this resort hands down. Do not hesitate to book this resort today! I can not wait to go back! Thank you The Vine and Iran and Mose for an amazing experience.

Secrets - cookery lesson
5 * Antonio was very good and provided accurate efficient information, the experience was very enjoyable we can’t thank Efrain enough for recommended us for the experience… secrets ❤️ I think this personal experience is very good for guests and all guests would thoroughly enjoy it. Might be worth expanding the group size slightly as it was only for four people.

Best All Inclusive Adults Only Resort in Cancun Mexico!
We recently returned from our second vacation to Cancun MX and Secrets the Vine resort. My husband and I enjoy all of the amenities and activities this beautiful hotel has to offer. Our favorite part of our vacation is the quality time we spend together, along with the beautiful people we meet along the way! Our butler Gabby is amazing, best butler we have had the pleasure of befriending, greeting us each morning with a beautiful smile, anticipating our needs, and assisting us daily. Fernando in the Olio restaurant also went above and beyond our expectations for service, we never left the restaurant hungry or thirsty...always totally satisfied, our bellies aching from laughter! We can't wait to return for our third vacation to Secrets the Vine, and yes, plans are currently under way! See you soon!!
