    Average at best

Overall it was a very average resort/experience. Food quality was poor overall with the exception of a couple places. Preferred Club status was not worth the additional cost for what you get. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rented a cabana for 2 of our days there and Norberto was excellent! He took great care of us! Entertainment was good but lacking in variety and quality. Rooms very clean and housekeeping were excellent. Bed was comfortable. Views from preferred club junior suite were exceptional. Building/facilities were in need of attention/maintenance. It really seems like Hyatt has given up on this property, which is sad because the views are incredible and it has everything you could possibly want in a resort. It just was not the quality expected for a Secrets Resort.

    2nd Time at this hotel

Loved the overall experience. We celebrated our anniversary, as well as my birthday. The 5 day stay was better than the fist trip, and we loved our first trip. This year we were more comfortable because we knew the ins and outs already so we took full advantage of our stay. Food, drinks all were incredible. Many options and enjoyed all, but I loved Nebbiolo and wish I went there more. Buffet and at the Market cafe was great every time. All-inclusive is nice because you don't have to carry your wallet every where, but we always left tips. I enjoy looking at a menu and not worrying about price on anything, including liquor. Dragons, Bluewater Grill and Nebbiolo were good. Each restaurant has a menu anybody could find something they like. We were very satisfied with this aspect of the trip. TIP! If staying over the weekend and want to try all 3, save the steakhouse (Bluewater Grill) for Sunday or a weekday! Shorter wait time : ) Saturday we got right into Dragons and Sunday right into Nebbiolo, no wait time. Beach was great, tried the jet skis this year and enjoyed that a lot. We loved the beach and spent most of our time here. Water was warm and clear, sand was nice and soft, plenty of seating options with tables and umbrellas if needed. Waves were great and staff delivered drinks. Staff were awesome! Night life was a lot of fun and there is plenty of entertainment. Piano Bar has great shows so did a lot of dancing. Sports Bar, Half-time was a favorite for me! Pool entertainment was fun and staff did great! Girlfriend loved the Boy Band tribute band that played. TIP! We used MTS for shuttle to and from the airport. It took 45 minutes to get to the hotel and that is with a wreck that slowed down traffic. The way home they always try getting you to go early. YOU WILL DO A LOT OF WAITING AT THE AIRPORT! We always call and get the time moved and stay at the hotel an extra hour, and still end up waiting around the airport for over an hour.

Work trip with co-workers with no work!

We had the best time on our business trip. Staff was lovely and very helpful. Food was great. There are plenty of bars. The rooms are large and everything is clean. Prompt room service. View is amazing! Beach was awesome! Would love to return!

Not the worst but I wouldn’t consider a 5 star

Food is good, resort is nice but beware of the mold in the rooms. We had headboards covered in mold and when we addressed it with the front desk was barely given a solution. Also minimal entertainment and the wait is long for the restos at dinner time.

    Exceeded All Expectations!

Secrets The Vine was far and away the best all inclusive we have ever visited. The resort was immaculately clean to the point we barely ever saw garbage on the ground or empty glasses sitting out. The food and drinks were fantastic, the beaches was awesome with all sand and no rocks. To make our trip extra special, we booked into the Preferred Club. This gave us a higher floor, a HUGE Ocean view room, extra amenities on the 21st Floor, and best of all, the use of an exclusive pool, bar, and restaurant on the 12th Floor. Specific recognition to Benjamin, one of the attendants at the 12th Floor pool. He was friendly, cheerful, and did everything in his power to make sure all guests were comfortable and relaxed. He was a true pleasure to be around.
