Mar 04, 2026Not up to Secrets expectations
Booked this place for two weeks in January for my parents. They found the Breathless side very loud. That is where most of the restaurants are and it was so loud they had trouble having a conversation during dinner. The beach is disappointing - overwhelmed with Sargassum. I had requested a room in a quiet area but they were put overlooking the musical entertainment area. They said some parts were good but they wouldn’t go back. That’s disappointing for a Secrets resort.

Overall, the property provides a balanced blend activities across both Breathless and Secrets. The younger members of our group spent more time at the Breathless pools as these tend to attract a younger crowd with DJs pumping house music for the majority of the day. Overall, the food is what I would expect from an all inclusive… Good-serviceable. The service at the resort was excellent. The people that work here go out of their way to make a great experience for others. Most notably, Luis at the Secrets Pool. He is the entertainment coordinator and he is the heartbeat of the pool. He does a great job of pulling people in to activities that otherwise would have likely just observed. Awesome guy! Additionally, Cruz did a great job of keeping our glasses full all day. Friendly and responsive. Had a blast and I would not hesitate to return.

Best Time!
My husband and I went for a long weekend and had an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING time! The resort and staff were top notch! Daniel, Mario, Cruz, Never, Urburo and Julio went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time!

Enjoyable
My family and I were there for 7 days. We all had a wonderful time. The staff are fantastic anywhere on the resort. The food is very good in any one of the restaurants. The resort is clean and easy to navigate. Will definitely be going back.

Service amazing
Prefer club Carlos Leon was amazing!! As well as Wilberth at party pool, Christian at middle pool bar. All 3 made my stay perfect.
