The hotel is older, which would not matter if the staff appeared to care. The first night, our room was dirty, our shower only had cold water and the ocean view we paid for was blocked by dirty windows. When I approached the front desk, they asked “What do you want me to do?” Later they were able to provide a new room but the mini fridge didn’t work. We reported it again and they never came. We reported it a third time and they told us they would come in the morning, but showed up at 10:30pm at night when we were already in bed. Furthermore, they had 4 beers, a couple waters and a couple cokes in the min fridge. They refilled in once in our 8 day stay. Even when we requested they never came. We had to go to the literally go down to front desk to request more. The “cleaners” appeared to come everyday as the bed was made but they did not give any replacement towels or toliet paper. Again we had to request. The restaurants were limited, especially as they closed several and limited some to the preferred guests. The entertainment was good but it was clear the staff is overworked and underpaid. We’ve been to multiple all inclusive and this is hands down the worst. However, we did rent a car one day and traveled the east side of the island and it was beautiful. The food at Punta Sur was excellent. I’m guessing some of the all inclusive here struggle because it’s on a small island but I’d suggest just staying at a nice hotel and going to the all inclusive beach restaurants.

App isn’t accurate on opening times of restaurants. Restaurants are closed when app says open. Toilet issues every day. Entire resort is in desperate need of a total upgrade. In various states of disrepair. Either have scalding hot water or cold water for showers. No in between. Appears to be very understaffed. Food was decent. We have visited several secrets and were caught off guard and overall disappointed by the condition of the room and resort overall. Beaches were great. Staff that showed up was friendly and worked very hard. Probably would not come back to this secrets without a major renovation

Why does their sewage treatment plant smell up the area. it is horrible and affects the air all around. Nobody should stay there until they correct this issue. They are also terrible neighbors to the surrounding property

Smaller resort. Very few complaints. Not worth even mentioning. We absolutely loved this place. So relaxing. The views were amazing. The food was very good. Our favorite was the French restaurant. The entertainment team was addicting. They had so much energy and you could tell that they loved their jobs. Shout out to: Adriana, Eduardo, Heydy and Fabiola. Check in and out were seamless. We loved our week here. Thank You.

Amazing Views/People
The views were absolutely beautiful. Our favorite part was the entertainment team. They always had a smile on their faces, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed their jobs, especially Heydy, Adriana, Fabiola, and Eduardo. They made the entire soo fun for us!
