Very bland resort. Very hard to navigate around without getting lost. Way over grown vegetation every where so bugs are terrible. Shows/entertainment Very short and cheezy. Food was hit or miss. Can't even see beach or ocean at ocean front pool. If you want to lay and sleep for a week it good

The most incredible resort we have ever visited. The staff continually and consistently went above and beyond. The rooms were amazing and clean. The food was delicious and all the menus offered a plethora of elevated options. There was always something to do. We can’t wait to visit again. We have recommended it to everyone since returning home.

The best keep Secret
I visited Secrets Akumal on day two of my vacation. I was originally booked at Dreams Aventura. One look at the level of quality and luxury and I knew I had to spend the rest of my stay here. Victor, Marjo, Paula, and many more amazing staff members made my trip memorable. I will be back before EOY.

Amazing resort
Awesome resort, great location, excellent service and rooms, lot of options for dining and activities ! I had stayed here for 3 nights as part of Costco vacation package. Going solo to adults-only inclusive resort is a bit absurd but I totally loved my stay and experience here. The beach was really good and the staff were doing a great job of removing the sargassum daily. They have around 8-10 restaurants with lot of food options for vegans and vegetarians. I would recommend this resort for anyone looking for relaxing vacation. I would love to return to this place again in future with my husband ! Special shoutout to the resort for maintaining the ecology of the area (you can actually see lot of wildlife like snake, birds, etc. within resort premises) and protecting the turtle nests ! Tips - the snorkeling activity books quickly as they have only 6 spots and they do not have this activity daily. They open up booking in their app at midnight of the previous day. So, book to get a slot. My snorkeling activity was cancelled due to thunderstorms but I would highly recommend it since this beach is home to 3 varieties of sea turtle.

Amazing!
We have been to a dozen different all inclusive resorts, and this one is hands-down, our favorite. We have stayed here three times, and it does not disappoint! Some of our favorite aspects are the beautiful grounds.
