    Amazing and Relaxing Holiday!

Just returned from a 10 day stay at Sandos Finisterra. We used No name Fishing ie: Bernie Godoy for our transportation to and from Sandos. They were amazing. He was there when we arrived and the same when we left to return home! We had a wonderful time at Sandos, we went to relax and that is exactly what we did. We stayed in one of the ocean view rooms in the older section, the room was large clean and the view was amazing. Room and bar service was great. When we arrived check in was quick. We were introduced to our concierge Carlos Romo who was amazing. He was continuously checking with us if all was good with our stay and rooms. He went above and beyond making our stay amazing! We hung out by the pool with the Bali beds during our stay. The water was a bit cold but I've been in colder water. It cools you down from laying in the sun all day. Service at the pool was great. Norma and Joel were awesome, we never went without a drink and or food which was also really good. All the staff was pleasant and very friendly. The Tortuga Restaurant for lunch and dinner was delicious. The Don Diego Restaurant was great for breakfast. Did not go for dinners as my spouse is not a big fan of authentic Mexican Food. The Italian and Agave for dinners were okay. The service was a slow. Every morning we ordered Coffee for our rooms which was great. The wait time was pretty decent also. We ordered room Service a few times in the evening, the food was really good and the service was great. The hotel is beautiful, well cared for and very clean. The location is great! It was really sad to leave. We will be returning in May 2025.

    Perfect vacation

The resort was absolutely beautiful, spotless, comfortable , great food and entertainment. But the best part of our experience was the friendly and attentive personal service by every single member of the resort staff. We were all made to feel welcome, safe and special from the waitstaff to the housekeeping staff and the front desk. Extra thanks to Cesar at the spa for coordinating treatments for our family (and cheerfully accommodating changes) and to Elizabeth for most relaxing massage ever. Norma kept us all refreshed poolside with a big smile. The hospitality at Sandos Finesterra will have us coming back !

    Cabo trip

The staff especially Edgar was fantastic. The best hospitality I've ever had. Edgar knows how to treat his guests and was a great time to spend at this resort. I always felt like I was served and had no issues with their service. Would like to come back again.

    Don't recommend the Sandos Finisterra

We have been to Cabo San Lucas a number of times, and this was by far the worst property we had stayed at. Other than the buffet breakfast and the pizza at the pool bar, the food is terrible. Very greasy and bland. We had noticed a number of reviews from people with one review, raving about a certain staff member. We had been asked at dinner one night if we would give a review of our waiter, who provided us with a QR code for TripAdvisor. The service was good but the food wasn't worth a good review at all. If you want good food, try Captain Tony's on the Marina. We had paid for an ocean view junior suite. We received a junior suite, but had no view of the ocean at all as it was blocked by the roofs of two palapas. The front desk manager Oswaldo said they had fulfilled their obligation by giving us a junior ocean view suite, when they had not. What was missing was the view. The time share staff were relentless. We were asked and said no six times before they quit hounding us. As other posters have said, you cannot go into the ocean at this hotel. The whale watching is great from this location. There are three pools. We didn't go into the kids pool, or the (cess)pool with the swim up bar. The music from the cesspool wasn't too bad until they turned the speakers around and it became difficult to talk to anyone near you as it was too loud. We attended the white party but it dragged on. The Michael Jackson show and the rock cover band were very good. On a positive note, the weather was great, and the whales put on a great show every morning and evening. This hotel is close to the marina which is great in some respects. However, be prepared to be asked every three feet by someone trying to sell you any kind of tour. We tried to contact the hotel manager re our concerns about lack of a view and the timeshare hassle, however you can't get past the gatekeeper Oswaldo. Look for another property and don't waste your money going to the Sandos Finisterra.

    Good food and entertainment

We visited here with eight other friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. The check-in went very smoothly, and our room was very spacious and very clean with a great view of the beach. Although one of our friends had roaches in their room, and it took three days for the resort to move them to another room. They had roaches showing up each day, and for three days to do anything is way too long. We had great meals each day, and the nightly entertainment was pretty good. For an all-inclusive it wasn't too bad, but they should have bell boys pick up luggage on departure, was saw several family with kids and elderly people trying to lug their luggage back down to the lobby area. Also, the resort should consider adding a courtesy shuttle van for very local travel. That entrance incline is very ruff for older people or people with injuries. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and everyone in our group had a great time.
