May 19, 2023Amazing Boutique Hotel steps from BEACH!!
This adorable, quaint, boutique hotel is amazing. My second time staying here and it did not disappoint. The rooms are newly remodeled and the staff is very friendly and willing to help you with anything. The owners actually stroll around the property which makes it feel like you are family. It’s on the best beach in St Croix and just down the road from Fredricksted. They provide a wonderful complimentary continental breakfast and the restaurant makes amazing food! It’s my go to place each and every time! I highly recommend the Ocean Villa Suites. There are only 3 rooms and you share a private patio with your neighbors. It’s nice and quiet and when you step off your patio, you are literally in the sand! And the ocean is just feet away!!

They say West is Best, and they are right!
My wife and I stayed here for a week in May. We were looking for a small place with nice beach to relax, swim, sun, and snorkel. Sandcastle hits a home run. Check in took about a minute and one of he owners carried our bag to the room, we were on the beach 5 minutes later. Cleanliness - 5 stars (Beach, Pool Area, Room). Beach towels, chair covers, light breakfast and coffee all provided. I already miss sitting on the patio with my coffee, listening to the birds and seeing the ocean every morning. Snorkeling was ok, water clear, lots of small fish around the rocks. Did see a few turtles, lion fish, and a barracuda. Recommend a car if staying on this side of the island. We met many people staying here and what stuck with me most was how many of them have been coming back repeatedly. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thanks Chris and Ted.

We'd been waiting 20 years for a bff trip!
My friend and I had such a relaxing vacay at Sandcastle on the Beach. Everyone from the hotel was so friendly and we had so many good conversations, learning about the local culture and sites. The continental breakfast was great. Eating right on the beach was so fun. It was lovely to snorkel (thanks for the free loan of mask & snorkel!) right out front of the resort in the crystal clear, warm water.

Great Staycation
We decided to have a little Staycation a couple of weeks ago. We had one of the rooms by the clothing optional pool. The rooms were spacious, and the pool was perfect temperature. We really enjoyed getting an all over tan. I did feel sorry for the younger folks there though. They seemed a bit freaked out by the old naked couple. Great stay I'll always stay back there as I can read my book naked as opposed to the beach pool which I'm sure it's frowned upon. We also ate there for the first time. We did the day pass and Had drinks there many times but never ate there enjoyed our dinner and subsequent breakfast. Staff was top notch from check in to check out. The only complaint. I needed another day or two. Question can Day pass users utilize the clothing optional pool?

Beautiful location! Friendly atmosphere!
The location is gorgeous. The beach view is amazing. We loved the Villa we stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Brad! We plan to return and will definitely stay at Sandcastle on the Beach again. The pictures don’t even do justice to the beauty!
