Lots of issues...
Not a great value as expensive for what it is. We booked executive suite as we are traveling with kids for more space. Smells like mildew and we were told they would fix it but didn't happen. Water doesn't get hot for shower. Pool area kind of dirty. Service elevator has problem so making loud horn sound that sends vibration through room. Talked to front desk x 2 with no answers but then saw gentlemen who told us it's an outside company so might take time to fix issue. So many people here you have to get in line at 7:30 am to get beach chairs. My husband has stayed here and said it was more kid friendly than Condado Vanderbilt but it's really just that there's more kids here. If I had toddlers or very young kids might be better but otherwise Condado Vanderbilt much nicer for same price
Perfect Spot To Relax!
My wife and I went on our honeymoon earlier this month doing a cruise out of San Juan. We decided to stay an extra day in San Juan and we booked this hotel to stay one extra night. We wish we spent more time. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating since the moment we got there. Especially one Rita Marerro. She noticed we were wearing our just married hats and surprised us with a bottle of pool side champagne with orange juice to make our own mimosas. We were able to lounge pool side sipping on that while we waiting on our room to be ready. The pools were perfect. The beach was perfect. Chairs and umbrellas were included and the staff even set up the chairs for you. Sure enough we checked in and had an amazing ocean view room that over looked the beautiful beach. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Everything about it was perfect. That night the Super Bowl was happening so they even had a fun viewing event downstairs in the restaurant. We were able to relax and enjoy food while watching the game. After the one night, of course we were dreading leaving the next morning. We were able to check our bags at the bell hop and leave them there as we went back to the beach for a few more hours before our flight. They had great clean changing rooms by the pool, with showers, so we had plenty of time to clean off and dress for travel before we left. Once again before we left, we saw Rita. And she was so happy to hear that we enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend staying here when visiting San Juan. The boat port was 15 minutes away by Uber and the airport was about 15 as well! Great stay! Great place! Great pool! Great beach!
Wonderful place to stay
Love this hotel! Going back next week as well! Everyone at the Marriott was amazing. The staff works so hard and took great care of us. The guys on the beach worked their butts off to accommodate all our needs. From umbrellas to chairs as well as food and drinks. They are the reason I am leaving this review and coming back to visit again. The few that went above and beyond were Kevin Padilla, Kenneth Bilorio and Nomar Rodrig. Couldn’t have ask for better service!!
Great hotel with amazing staff. We needed to change our room because of our noisy next door guests and the front desk staff were amazing..... they had the housekeeping staff assisting us and it was done in a breeze. Food could be improved and also a little over priced but other than that we would go back. Lovely.
Lots of light with looong shadows!
Poolservice Rita & friends perfect. Restaurantservice need training but generally nice. Beachboy Alejandro, quick & kind. Other beach boys? Do not ask for happyness. They want to „steal“ us sunbeds at 3:45 pm???? Rest? Concierge, tours and reception? Bad, nobody could use them. Especially tours, what a mess. Spa? A joke. Had a treatment for a couple. The masage itself, great. The presentation like in a bad b-movie. Gym: very good. Room: old but renovated and modern (water is free of charge). Roomservice very kind and good. Breakfast: Oatmeal is a dream!!!! Overall. A big old hotel with a very nice beach and mostly so kind people. Good location!
