Run as Fast as you Can!!!!
If 0 stars were an option that’s what we’d rate this resort. Upon arrival the resort looked nice, big, lots of pools - great! We checked into the Diamond Club Members area. It took a little longer than we’d have like but we survived. Our butler took us to our rooms and we got settled in. We splurged on the Diamond Club for the swim out suite and a Butler because it had been awhile since we took our kids on vacation. Our butler said he come back the next day to help make dinner reservations for the week. Our first night was okay, our room was outside one the restaurants that hosts wedding receptions so outside of it being super loud until the late hours the first night was fine. We have been to several all inclusives all over this area and so far this resort wasn’t anything spectacular but it was okay so far. The second day, our first full day, we took our kids to the kid pools. There was one section of the pool “roped off” (I use that term lightly) because they had giant metal rods sticking out of the bottom of the pool. My 5 year old playing in the area feel and nearly got pierced from one of the giant metal rods. After that we decided for the safety of our kids this wasn’t the place to remain for the next 6 nights of our stay. The next morning my husband and mother-in-law wen to talk to the Diamond Club Manager, Xima. She apologized for our experience and told my husband we’d receive a FULL refund for the remaining 5 nights we didn’t use and we needed to be out of our room by noon. She agreed to a full refund!! Several days later they told Apple Vacations they were not indeed going to give us a refund that they had a No Refund policy - despite the Diamond Club Manager telling us to our face we’d get a refund. If that weren’t the case we would have sucked it up and dealt with the sewer smell property, the poor food and drinks they don’t put alcohol in until you notice and have to tell them they forgot the tequila in their margarita because you watched them make it.. my guess is Xima KNEW they indeed wouldn’t refund us after we already left and she could book our room and make $$ on it twice. This place is a fraud and their management team is a fraud. We’ve been fighting with them for over 2 months now for the $6,000 refund they told us we’d get. Marriott claims that even though their “name” is on the hotel their is nothing they can do. We’ve filed a complaint with our credit card, we’ve also filed a formal complaint with the Federal Agency of Consumer Affairs in Mexico as well. Save yourself a terrible trip and go elsewhere- there are plenty of lovely resorts where you will have better food, better service, better management and a safer environment for your kids to play!!

Jesus was amazing. Highly recommended! Waiter at anchor pool! Will come back because of Jesus! Food very good. Room very clean, !pools amazing! Buffet was amazing. Foam party fun too. The main bar had the strongest drinks!

Vacation with a workout, muy bien
Edgar and Jorge with royalton fit were the best trainers at the resort, they were amazing motivators during the beach training and the aqua fit sessions. Definetly going to come back to the hotel with all this great service
