Perfect in everyway
After reading the reviews,I was dreading our holiday....how wrong I was !the food was all Jamaican and plenty of choice, the staff were attentive and always welcoming and the rooms were as good as u can get for an older building(some updates are needed ).what I would say is don't listen to anyone telling you not to go off the resort ,get out an see the country!the people are all friendly and helpful.thankfully we met a fantastic couple (the hat man ) and his lovely wife who have been going there for 35 years and they showed us the real Jamaica (so if you see him )ask away .also we had a fantastic taxi driver called zipp who will take you anywhere and look after you ...so glad we got to experience Jamaica without being stuck on the resort..top job to all at the hotel ,you made our stay perfect!!!!we will be back

View & Beach/ocean amazing but the rest no bueno
Had a short 4 day stay here for a Bachelorette weekend I'll give you the pros & cons: CONS: -STAFF most of the staff were ultra slow (food, hotel & bar) & pretty rude :/. It took them 6 HOURS to clean our room when we got there, we changed in the bathroom & had to kill time for that long. -SAFETY We had an incident where an unknown male was trying to enter our room, reported it to the staff, pretty creepy. Another male tried to sell us drugs on the beach more than once but left us alone when we made it clear we were not interested. -FOOD If you're a foodie you'll hate your life. Very subpar. It was like Cuba where you'll find something edible, but you won't write home about how great the food was. -HOTEL the hotel itself is pretty old with NO ELEVATOR, the rooms were inconsistent, one of us had a fridge, the other didn't, our toilet ran loudly the whole time, our keys were old school actual physical keys, & they gave us 1 to share amongst 3 people etc -WINE -undrinkable & a staff member tried to SELL us that cat piss (at an all-inclusive) claiming it was 150$ USD (ya right) and they'd give us a "deal". PROS -ENTERTAINMENT -you know the nightly resort shows no one likes -theirs were actually pretty good for the most part! The 1st night there was a dance crew who were incredible, 2nd night we missed half of it but there was a knife juggler, a fire breather & other circus acts, there was a very lame sing along guy but other than that it was actually very cool & entertaining. -POOL ENTERTAINMENT CREW -these were the only staff members that actually rocked, they were very engaging & fun, always trying to get people to dance, twerk offs, singing, pool exercising, games, bingo etc very fun crew -THE VIEW! probably one of the best things about the hotel was our view from our balcony, the ocean, drinking our coffee out there, so gorgeous, and the sunsets! pictures don't do it justice. -BAR -as slow as they were once they made a drink it was pretty good like the sex on the beach (for the most part anyways sometimes it was way too sugary just ask them for less sugar and more alcohol or water). -THE BEACH/OCEAN -the best part of staying there was the steps away ocean access, we had a calm, warm, fantastically fun ocean, so many areas to lounge, tiki umbrellas, lounge chairs, red couches to tan on all over it was nice, also there is this boardwalk/pier thing you can jump off into the ocean, very fun. THE POOL/ACCESS to Cornwall -this resort itself has a cute pool and 2nd pool that's a swim up ...but the swim up got quite murky -they had a foam party so that may be why, it got kind of gross, but steps away was the larger cleaner Cornwall resort's pool and there was a shelf in it to lounge in the water. Hope that helps

Don’t go here!!!! You have been warned!
We arrived at 1530hrs, told us our room was not ready. Was not ready till 1815hrs. AC did not work, no hot water in the shower. Atleast a 1/2” gap in the door. The next day, asked the manager for someone to look at the AC, that took an additional hr for someone to come just to say there is nothing they can do. No other rooms available. This place is old and dilapidated. Minimal food options. Don’t go here.

Love this place
Been going to this hotel for over 20 years. Will be back end of September. Staff all awesome and truly my friends..Captain Poly took many folks on his beautiful new boat. Had the greatest food ever at the resort. Only thing it is now Jamacian currency at the Gift Shop. Wish the owners would please fix the coolers at the pool bar. The doors have been falling off them for at least over 5 years or more and some aren't working anymore..The inspector looks daily, inspecting everything behind the bar except the coolers. Not even glancing at them. Had another amazing trip and can't wait to get back.
