I arrived at the Resort on a Friday check in was smooth. We got there late and the buffet was still open so we decided to get food after a long day. There were lots of options to choose from. Just wish they labeled a little better the foods that contained nuts/shellfish. There was also a white party going on it was nice music was good and so was the vibe. I would definitely stay here again my kids had an amazing time and there was always something for them to do. Our room was clean no issues there. We could also see the beach from our balcony. We ate at 2 speciality restaurants and the food was amazing!!! The beach by far is one of the best I've been to, and the sunset was spectacular. We never had to worry about getting lounge chairs on the beach and servers kept drinks flowing. I'd highly recommend everyone go the beach alone is worth it.

House keeper needs to make sure all the equipment in the room is working adequately. Some of the mattress needs to be changed due to wear.The staff has been very helpful. Would visit again to see if there have been any improvements made.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay
The staff at the hotel is amazing compared to Royalton Negril. I do believe the entertainment needs to be upgraded for a lively fun environment. after the show time is done there is no entertainment and that does not appeal to all crowds. Local Cuisine was amazing. Loved that the resort catered to local food not just American /British style food. ( Royalton catered to American not local)

Not bad!
Overall I enjoyed our stay here. The beach was incredible. Disappointed there was no Hibachi restaurant. The food in the Japanese restaurant was meh. Did not care for the reservation process for dinners. Let one person book for the whole group instead of every room booking and cross referencing each room. Other than that the service and staff was great. Bartenders were great!!!

Yah Mon!
Just back from 2 weeks staying here. A lovely hotel clean rooms. Fabulous buffet plenty of choices. The cocktails, bar staff and beach staff are wonderful. My favourites were Jamaican smile, Bob Marley and Pina Colada. Entertainment Staff are amazing!!! All work so hard and makes the holiday so much more fun. Would love to go back again.
