Amazing location, stunning beach. Rooms OK, albeit in need of a refurb. Food good, but not amazing; definitely had better at other RIU Hotels. Evening entertainment not great at all. Time between 6pm and 8.30pm, completely dead, except for a bit of random children's entertainment. Need some parasols on the beach to save everyone fighting for the limited amount of shade of the palm trees.

We had a wonderful stay and everyone that worked there was so amazing. The only complaint I have is our room 3115 smelled musty but had a great view of the beach. We will definitely be back.

RIU Palace Tropical Bay
Great hotel and location. The food was great, the wine good, the beach and bay…marvellous. The accommodation was clean and the services received was all round excellent. A great holiday, we have re booked to go again ☺️

May 21, 2025Worse experience Ever!!
Location: The beach is beautiful, and water is warm. The hotel is nothing like i seen in other countries, food not as expected. Atmosphere was the worst part, the staff: extremely rude and unprofessional. Staff do not have the courtesy to say good morning when they walk by you, they don't wait for you to pass by, they just cut you and continue walking without having the courtesy to open a door for you or welcome you. I stayed for a week and regret it so bad. The cleaning staff missed two days of make up my room, therefore i had to call for shower gel, One of the employees bumped into me in the buffet area, almost knocked my wallet down, and she didn't even apologize or look back to see if I was okay. On the last day, I went to the bar in the lobby, I greeted first and asked one of the employees what drink she suggested and she extremely serious and rudely told me that she didn't know what I liked. This was the final straw regarding the rudeness of the employees. I complained to the manager and told her that I had never been treated so badly in a hotel in my life and that I would never think of recommending this hotel to my family, friends, or acquaintances. an additional note, there were three more couples complaining in different areas of the hotel about the staff.

White clothes and neon coloured clothes
Just returned from two weeks in the RIU palace tropical bay had a superb experience just to let people know there were a few themed events the only one in this hotel was a beach party was cool and was set up on the beach just for that evening also there’s a bar set up in there so no walking up to the main bar. The other two main parties were the white night party and the neon party which was held at the sister hotel RIU Negril which was on a Thursday evening and was awesome there was a shuttle bus laid on by the hotel which was free and ran from about 7:30 to 11 ish and if you missed the last shuttle you could get a taxi back for around $7 to $10 dollars and just to let you know the All-Inclusive package was at all the parties which was really good
