This resort was great!!! They had something for everyone!!!! The only thing is I think the restaurants should stay open a little later or at accept guests until closing time. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay!!!

Mar 05, 2026Do not recommend, but the ocean was beautiful!
Do not recommend- my friend and I both had our credit cards stolen out of our luggage that was in our room on day one. Guest services staff was defensive and not helpful despite us being charged over $1000 each to a local company. They tried to place blame on us stating we lost them or the charges were actually made by us even though I assured her we never left the room with them or used them during our stay… When I asked for a copy of my report it was not given so I had to file police report alone and she gave me corporates email to contact them. Corporate was contacted and they sent a two page email back +3 weeks later which could be summarized to “sorry”. Luckily we had a good group of friends to enjoy our time with and the ocean was beautiful because besides this experience- products were watered down and never refilled in bathroom, staff cat-called, there were cockroaches in bathrooms/hallways, the food made some of us sick, our room wasn’t ready on time, the lobby was overall not helpful.

Flight from Gatwick was delayed slightly so not off to the best of starts. Once in the air the flight was good. At arrival at Punta Cana airport we were told that the transfer would take about 2 hours due to waiting for another flight to come in but we could have a taxi take us for $50. Not sure if it was a con or not. The hotel check in was really quick. Room was lovely and spacious. Brilliant Mini Bar (Optics) which were great and room was always kept clean and tidy. Only disappointment was that it was only a shower and not a bath. Pools were great and numerous even had a waterslide park. Restaurants were generally good but on occasions had to wait a while and the service was hit and miss. The staff overall were really friendly and efficient but some were really bad and miserable. Beach was good too. The waves were sometimes quite ferocious but normally not too bad. You could walk up the beach and use the facilities of the other Riu hotels which was a nice touch. Overall a great time was had by all.

Property was very good clean and good service throughout. Steakhouse quality was the only thing I wish was better. Pools were good. Would like to see more shopping options

Better than Mexico!
Beautiful Resort on a beautiful beach with tasty food, plenty of relaxation and activities, many swimming/activity/entertainment areas for adults and families with children. I have stayed at over 40 all-inclusive resorts, and this one is in the top 5.
