Thanksgiving trip
There were definitely good and bad about this resort. The good: very clean, staff was great, nice pools, easy beach access. Large party scene if you are into that. Bad: the food……limited options unless you want to eat at the buffet all day everyday. One of the restaurants advertised, the Indian one, was not there. Also the food at the restaurants are only served at night and that’s if you can get in. They are randomly closed and sometimes they only serve so many meals, but won’t take reservations. So for breakfast and lunch it is just the buffet. There is no other option. There was also a snack bar advertised that was never open in the 7 days we were here. Continuing with the bad…it is loud. The pool, the beach, your room at night. If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you. Another weird thing is the advertised party’s are at a different resort, short walk, but weird. The price was the reason we chose this resort, and you get what you pay for. If you go sit on the beach, be ready to be bombarded by peddlers. You also can get a $50 massage on the beach or a $200 at the resort. Opted for the beach one and it was top notch!! I don’t think we will be coming back here, definitely more relaxing resorts with better food around.

Cabo
This resort was very nice. There was a gorgeous view from the pool and the Jungle Party was definitely something I will never forget! We enjoyed the Steak house and the Italian restaurant. Waitstaff were very attentive at all restaurants. The buffet offered something for everyone! Using the App was easy and our room was beautiful. It was great to be able to explore/enjoy all 3 properties. Downtown Cabo was just a quick Uber ride away. We also enjoyed the entertainment provided at night and daily pool activities. The staff were fun! Vendors on the beach were not aggressive and we got incredible massages while listening to the waves. We would love to go back.

Anniversary Trip
Totally enjoyed our stay! Will definitely be going back. Only hiccup was when we arrived at the airport and couldn't fine the guy to get transportation to our hotel so we spent 2 hours at the airport looking for him. He was not holding up his sign so that we knew who we were looking for.

Worst Hotel Ever
It would have been nice if at least a couple of the staff spoke a little English. The only good parts of this trip was adults only, the two 2 pools were great and the room was good. Says it has a sports bar, too bad you have to walk half a mile to get to it. Everything was happening at the Santa Fe. If you wanted to attend a Riu Party, same thing you had to walk and walk and walk to get there. Yes shows every night but they were pretty patheic at the hotel. If you wanted to see a good one you had to go the Santa Fe. The food was awful. The main buffet was 85 percent mexican food which i dont eat then 10 percent spice which i cant eat so i had 5 percent of food that i could eat. Usually gain a little at these places, but defintely lost this time. I drink my drinks with ginger ale. It was like pulling teeth to find a place that had it and then asked if i could bring some to my room so i could have a drink there, they said no could only drink it at the bar. Sorry very very odd Went to the Santa Fe to play cards with our friends who were staying there. We got kicked off the table so they could set it for dinner. So then we went to sit by Pepes, and again told to leave so they could clean the table. We offered to clean it after we left and got told no. Almost forgot the fire alarms. Every other day always about 2-3 AM it would go off. Very Very loud saying the event has ended. Never say any event. But the one nite it said event ended 12 times. Sure one would have been sufficient. Actualy none would be better since nothing every happened. Also we had a couple above our room fighting for hours. They dont like to get involved, so guess we didnt get any sleep that nite. My friends also do not recommend the Santa Fe unless you like to walk a lot. Not a place i would recommend to anyone especially for the price.

Great time at Riu Palace Baja California
Great experience from check-in to checkout. This was our first time at a RIU, and we really enjoyed the experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. We had a beautiful ocean front view. Housekeeper serviced the room twice a day. We found loungers in the shade by the quiet pool each day and had a relaxing time. Pool drink service was very good, and the food at Pepe's was great. The specialty restaurants were really good and the buffet had lots of choices. Overall, the food was very good for an all inclusive. Special thanks to Paola who took good care of us at the specialty restaurants. We will definitely return to the Riu Palace Baja California.
