Great place - Traveler caveat
What a great location. Spectacular views, great food, and awesome service. The place is spotless and the staff, from the waitstaff to housekeeping, are all spot on. 2.5 miles to the marina and markets. NOTE - You can use Uber, BUT they can NOT pick you up at the resort entrance, you must walk down to the guard shack to catch your ride (nobody told us this and we had multiple drivers cancel on us at the last minute because they were turned away). HOWEVER, Uber WILL drop you off at the resort entrance. Messed up system, but the resort caters to taxis and experience program vehicles only. We'd go back!

One and Done!!!!
The hotel was very nice. Modern rooms were clean. The food was very good especially the steakhouse was my favorite. Pool area was relaxing had music but nothing overwhelming. If you’re looking for a party, they do offer parties on certain nights, which was pretty cool. If you’re looking for a beach, this is not the hotel to go. The water is unable. it looks beautiful from afar you can go to a beach, which is quite rough but swimmable overall I had a good time at this place. However, I wouldn’t travel across the country again to see Cabo

Amazing staff, consistent service
We have stayed at the Riu Santa Fe twice and now the Baja California twice. The best thing is knowing that there is a consistent level of service and quality that I hope never changes. That reason alone is why we have a hard time choosing to go anywhere else when we travel to Cabo San Lucas. Food has been very good and the facilities are nice. Easy access to the beach and usually alot of different places to hang out and chill by a pool or in the shade. We mostly come to relax and are not big party goers and we find there is still a mix of people who are doing both, but when we want to just relax, we know we can. Criticisms: the beds in the rooms are not the most comfortable. Because of the design of the corridors, they act like a large echo chamber so any noise is amplified in the hallways. Otherwise, down near the pools and common areas could use a few more bathrooms. Special thanks to the staff at the coffee bar, buffet and walking around the pool, they are always working so hard, I am grateful they are so helpful.

50th birthday group
The stay was wonderful. Everything was to our liking and they had an amazing bartender that made extremely good espresso martinis.
