Pool entertainment by KiKi
Chile, let me tell you about Louis/Lewis aka Kiki, adult pool entertainer!!!! A whole entire vibe for our entire 7 day vacation. He needs to stay on the hotel payroll always with continuous raises, promotions etc. His energy is INFECTIOUS and he gets the party started all the way to finish!!! We were the group from Buffalo NY and everybody loved him. Great choice as your employee and very well loved by everyone not just our group. I hope to see him next year. Until then, KiKi we’ll miss you, keep being you ❤️

Don’t stay. Check in was a nightmare.
We booked this Birthday Girls Trip 10 months in advance and encountered problems after problems. First, when we showed up around 5pm they told us they did NOT have any rooms. It was 5 of us and we had reservations for 2 rooms. Neither was available. Did I mention I “checked in” 2 days before we arrived. Secondly, when they finally found us 2 rooms in their sister property which was a family hotel (we booked the adult only resort) the rooms were terrible. One room had the maintenance man working on the AC unit it was 8 at night. The other room was basically a cleaning closet converted into a room. We did get moved to the adult resort the next day. But the only thing we received was an apology. Since it was a girls trip we made the best of it. BUT the day of our return the shuttle never came, had contact the company several times until we just got on one. We almost missed our flights. And there are not many flights back to the US. After talking to other friends, the check in process is common for this company. I do not recommend and will not stay at RIU properties again.

45 shades of Pink
The stay was great. I suggest more food options at night. At 1am there was nothing good to snack on after drinking and dancing at the club. I needed some chicken wings, fries, hamburgers, something hardy not tuna sandwich or bagels

Worth the Wait
I wasn't sure what to expect from some peoples reviews. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The resort is beautiful. Aruba itself is just paradise. The restaurants on the resort provided every kind of food variation you needed. There's some adorable shops on the lower level as well. The grounds are constantly being cleaned. From the staff skimming both pools for leaves, to the mopping of the floors. The staff here couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. My only complaint is we had an 2 issues with bath towels being refreshed with ones having stains. They replenished them with new ones and also spoke with the manager. She was very cordial and indicated they would look into the issue. However, this was a little disappointing as we have never encountered this anywhere. As for people complaining about the music by the pool being loud, yes it is. However, in a fun way. They play island themed, as well as non-island. Have a volleyball net which people would partake in, and the swim up bar is very nice. We didn't mind the music at all. If you're looking for dead silence, this isn't the place for you. People also commented on not finding palapas on the beach. We had no issue what so ever. Whether later morning or at noon. Could very well be this time of year being in May. We had no issues finding chairs around the pool either. No matter what time we went. RIU Antillas is full of fun, relaxation, and an inclusive resort worth staying at.

Best Riu and Beautiful Island
My husband and I went to Riu Palace Antillas for 7 nights in May 2023. We have travelled to several resorts and several Riu properties including Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. This Riu is by far are favorite. Everything was clean and nice. Alejandro started off our visit and we saw him everyday. He was always smiling, friendly, and working hard to get everyone to their rooms. I didn’t get everyone’s names but the bartender in the lobby bar was amazing. He was always smiling and remembered our drinks. We ate the buffet or the restaurant by the pool every time we ate on property. There were always plenty of options and it was delicious. I had amazing octopus ceviche and the fish was always delicious. We didn’t want to wait in line for the other restaurants and do not feel like we missed out. We loved Bugaloe on the beach right next to the Riu. Great atmosphere, food and drinks. We did a UTV tour and the bar tour bus which were both so much fun! We walked down to Eagle Beach and the shops and restaurants at Palm Beach. There is so much to see right around the resort. We did check out the bird sanctuary across the street but unfortunately we didn’t see any birds. We took a taxi downtown 1 day. ($13 from hotel). Lots of restaurants and shopping there. The beach is amazing. Crystal clear water and you can see fish right there at the resort. People complaining about getting chairs - we never had an issue and often didn’t get chairs until around 12. Yes it is full but unless you are picky there is NO need to go out at 6 am to “save” a chair. Take towel clips. It is always windy. More than most islands. Only issue we had was housekeeping- we only opted for 1 day of the room cleaning. We requested it at 8:30 am and still by 3:30 it was not done. We left a nice tip for the housekeeper BUT the room wasn’t even finished once it was done. Bed wasn’t finished and nothing on balcony was cleaned. That was disappointing. Overall great trip and we will go back!
