We had such a wonderful time at the Riu Arecas. The rooms are lovely and spacious. The cleanliness of the hotel hotel is perfect and we especially liked that it was no smoking. The pool areas are lovely and offer a great variety of sunbeds either in the shade or not. I was a little concerned there was no music around the pool but wasn’t at all bothered when I was there. There was never an argument over sunbeds and you didn’t have to get up early to secure one. The infinity pool area was so nice and it was great that it was made to be like a beach. The hotel is quiet and relaxing yet close enough to the hustle and bustle of Fanabe. The choice of food was excellent with variety each night. I am quite a fussy eater and my wife is vegetarian but we both had plenty of options every night. We didn’t go to the entertainment but there was a good selection of evening entertainment and the free RIU party is a must do. We like to visit new places when we go on holiday but we were so impressed we have already booked for next year and will also be bringing my brother and sister-in-law!

Just perfect!
The best hotel ever! The staff were absolutely amazing. A credit! Enjoyed it so much I got home and booked again for November. Great location Perfect rooms The pool was amazing never an issue getting sunbeds Hotel is maintained to a high standard! A wonderful wonderful time.

Fantastic hotel and stress free.
The third time we have stayed at the RIU Arecas, still a fantastic hotel. The food selection at breakfast and dinner buffet is excellent, the food is well presented. The staff are friendly and efficient the hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The pool areas and private beach have been a godsend in the extreme heat, again all the pool and beach areas very clean and looked after and the bonus at the Arecas no fighting for sun beds plenty of sundeck and shade. A massive thank you to all the staff for a wonderful holiday and for making it so stress free.

Fantastic hotel we have stayed at the Arecas three times, it is spotless and the staff are friendly.
Never disappointed when staying at Arecas the food is delicious the buffet is never empty always a great selection of dishes. The pool areas are clean and no fighting for sun beds, the private beach area with the infinity pool is a godsend in the heat with the breeze off the sea. The hotel staff are prompt and efficient and the little problem we had with an electrical socket in the room was fixed immediately. I can not recommend the Arecas highly enough it is still as enjoyable as the first time we stayed. Thank you to everyone at the Arecas for making our holiday so stress free.

Great, quiet and calm
All of the staff were lovely, the hotel clean and food was excellent. It’s important to note the steps down to the beach but we didn’t find this to be an issue. Fun entertainment in the evenings. The overall feel was just so calm and quiet. An ideal couples get away.
