    Wonderful experience

Wonderful atmosphere. Great vacation place for families. All staff are welcoming, kind and helpful. John-Luis, Ishra, and Junior made us feel truly at home! Flamingo beach is a unique experience and renting a cabana is highly recommended! Prices and quality of food are hard to beat. Will definitely be visiting again!

The private island feels like paradise

It was our first time in Aruba and obviously the first time at this hotel and we had a great time. We were all inclusive which worked well for us as a family. The hotel is two separate buildings with a main road between them, around 5 minutes walk apart. The hotel runs a golf buggy between them if you don’t want to walk. We stayed as a family and were therefore in the ocean suites side which has 2 pools and a beach. The marina side has an adults only pool but no beach. Aquarius and LG smith restaurants are in the Marina building, and this is also the side where the island boat sometimes leaves from inside the lobby. There is a separate pier for the ocean suites side. The positives The island is amazing - the flamingos are very tame and hang out all day on Iguana beach so don’t worry if you’ve got kids and can’t use flamingo beach. Despite the fact that the hotel was apparently full, it never felt crowded either round the pool or at the island. You do have to get up early to reserve sun loungers in the shade (both round the pool and on the island) and I don’t know why they don’t just install more umbrellas? The hotel is very clean Food was excellent and portions are huge Staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly the front desk staff and Dito was particularly helpful to us The pools are lovely - very warm The bathrobes are heavenly The roll away bed had a proper mattress and was v comfortable Negatives/opportunities Housekeeping was inconsistent - 4 things needed replacing each day - towels, toilet paper, toiletries and water. I don’t think the balcony was ever cleaned in the 10 days we were there. Each day something was missed. Housekeeping was often late in the day (3.30 onwards) so I don’t know if they’re just spread too thinly? Maintenance in the rooms is poor - drawers that had come wonky and needed fixing, lights that needed replacing, the fridge was a bit too big for the cupboard and the door didn’t shut properly. The room decor is boring - you’ve got all the colours of the Caribbean and everything is just beige. The sofa bed is poor - there are good quality and comfortable sofa beds available and this was not one of them. Maybe ok for a small child but not for a fully grown teenager The music round the pool was generally good and we enjoyed the live music, BUT (and I hope management respond to this as I know they read reviews) on Friday 25th august the DJ was playing music that was not suitable for a family resort, including “rich flex” by Drake. Completely unacceptable and this needs to be addressed. There is nowhere to hang wet swim wear which is a ridiculous miss on a holiday like this I observed that there were often long waits to check in In terms of opportunities, there is a little water slide at one of the pools which is cute for toddlers, but it would be great to have something bigger for teenagers. An ice cream parlour would also be very welcome. The all inclusive is a bit odd as despite wearing wrist bands you have to constantly give your room number and sign for things. I was confused at first as the bills make it seem like there’s a daily allowance you’re using up, but there isn’t - you can have whatever you want. We found all the food excellent. I particularly enjoyed the seafood station at the evening buffet at Aquarius with big shrimp and lobster tails. We also were very impressed with LG steakhouse, though I was surprised they didn’t turn away the woman who was sat in a bikini top and nothing else on her top half! Overall a great holiday and we would return to this hotel

    Wink Creek Aruba and FRESCO

We always stay at the Renaissance Resort. This luxurious resort has so much to offer …from the beautiful private island, excellent location, stunning views and delicious food. A special thank to Rosa Lba and Ai Zhen from that works at FRESCO who prepared delicious food and outstanding service. I highly recommend the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort if you’re looking for a luxurious resort.

    Amazing Vacating spot.

Amazing little resort that has everything you could need, to include private, not so private beach. They tried to think of everything when designing this place. The private island, Flamingo and Iguana are amazing and short boat ride (10 mins max) heading over 0700-645pm. Only comment is get there early, individuals not staying at resort can purchase a day pass and taking up shaded and primo seating. Event coordinator (Thonya) was great host and coordinator, multiple events during our stay, the sunset snack and wine to the local Carnival demo was great. She is a a blast full of energy and information. The hotels had everything you could want, both resorts Adults only Marina, and Sea side Family friendly were great pools never seemed to crowded, staff was always friendly and welcoming. All the restaurants were great! Will stay again. All the staff were friendly, multilingual, and very information, Rose was great! Wait staff in all restaurants were great and resourceful. Sea Side is across the street from Marina Adult only portion, they have larger pool and small sea walled swimming area with chairs and cabanas. Either local is great, the Marina adult only, is more party atmosphere but we could not hear the DJ music in out room and never had any disturbances throughout our stay. Aruba sun is relentless so bring aloe, sunblock and enjoy, beautiful island with amazing people.
