    Must Stay in Aruba

If you are in Aruba, You Must stay here for whole or partial period of your trip. This property has its own private flamingo island where you can would spend the entire day relaxing, swimming in nature's own pool, admiring the flamingos and enjoy great food at the restaurant. Hotel provides regular boat service to and from the island. There is also a shopping mall across the street with local shops and evening entertainment. The property has multiple restaurants to choose from. Room and Services are extraordinary.

    Happy Birthday

A very close friend was celebrating her birthday at Wind Creek. I worked with the team onsite to get flowers and champagne set up for her room. The staff sent me detailed instructions on how to make everything work. She was so happily surprised and everything came off perfect!

Thank you but sadly - farewell

This was our 7th year at Renaissance. Positives - Staff is phenomenal - they are friendly, kind, attentive, and appear to be genuinely happy. Couldn’t ask for more out of a hospitality team. Rooms continue to be clean and comfortable but often smell of sewage gas. We resorted to putting towels over the drains and toilet. We love the location and take advantage of walking to many restaurants. The beach cabanas and lagoon are wonderful. The downfalls that have brought us to a decision to not return - the sewage smell - it often wafts up outside as well, the cigarette smoking on the beach and the people that seem to think it’s ok to leave their butts and trash on the beach - seemed like no matter where we sat, someone sat next to us and smoked one after another. Other people left their trash all over the place and held umbrellas and cabanas they didn’t occupy for hours. We come on vacation for increased wellness- fresh air, quiet, and to appreciate Mother Nature. Loud music is hard to get away from and trash and toxic second hand smoke made that hard to do. If you’re a smoker, like the music, and don’t mind the towels/trash/dishes left behind by fellow vacationers - this is perfect! Just not for us. We will miss the wonderful staff and convenience.

Well run resort… staff are outstanding!

A fantastic resort… the private island is what separates this hotel from others. It is well maintained, food is great, transport is easy and the wildlife was fantastic. The hotel is conveniently located to restaurants in mini shopping establishments. I would say the food at the resort is equal to or better than many of the restaurants I visited outside. The staff here is very well trained and polished .. I made a mistake of not having enough cash for the taxi and the Bellman covered me until I could get to an ATM. I would also recognize Vanie D who went way above and beyond on her personal time to assist me finding a souvenir. She is the epitome of outstanding customer service! Staff were very enthusiastic and grateful to share their island.

    Take the mixology class!

Great resort for sure, worth the money. But the absolute best part was the mixology class with Bryan. He was so accommodating with my allergies and made the whole thing both informative and fun! He even offered to assist us with finding rare liquors and taught others along the way. Couldn’t be happier with our stay.
