Outstanding Experience
Phenomenal experience. My wife and I went for our honeymoon 11 years, decided to take our 8 & 10 year old. Spent 8 nights at the Ocean Suites. Huge thank you to Deidre, Janice, and Mathias for all the great help. Highly recommend for families. Thank you!

Amazing service
My stay at the Renaissance wind creek marina was good. I felt special.when a worker Mercia realized that I took ill without mentioning it to her. She was extremely kind and the room was spotless after she left. Just her kindness made me feel acknowledged. Little things like this makes my trips worth while. Actually we toured the island, visited a few attractions and her interaction was the most memorable to me. Thank you mercia.

No place we’d rather be.
Our home away from home. Our fifth time here, no other place we would rather spend our wedding anniversary at, we absolutely love this place. The minute the taxi drops us off off at the ocean suites, everything thing else going on in the world goes on the back burner. The hotel staff goes out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay.Shoutout to lounex at the sole bar for always making sure we have a drink in hand, thank you my friend, you literally make happy hour a happy hour ! The Renaissance private island is our favorite place to spend our days, heaven on earth. Big thank you to Jennifer at Papagayo for going above and beyond. Thank you for everything. You work that island like a rockstar !!!

Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort: Great Location, but Some Major Drawbacks
My husband and I spent the last three days of our Aruba vacation at the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort after a week at the Tamarijn, an all-inclusive Divi resort. We chose the Renaissance for its central location, perfect for exploring the city, shopping, and enjoying diverse restaurants. The resort’s location is ideal for anyone wanting to experience Aruba’s city life. The surrounding garden area is beautifully manicured, creating a tranquil atmosphere amidst the city. We loved that we could walk to the heart of the city from the resort in a safe, lively environment. A highlight of the Renaissance is the private island with its flamingos, pelicans, and scenic boat rides. The boats, which run regularly, were well-maintained, and the drivers were polite, skilled, and thorough with safety instructions. However, as ocean lovers, we were disappointed by the beaches. Unlike the clear, rock-free waters at other Aruba beaches, the ocean here was rocky and a little murky, making it uncomfortable and less enjoyable to swim. We also weren’t informed that snorkel gear rentals stopped after 4 p.m., which limited our late afternoon plans. The rooms at the Renaissance are spacious and beautifully designed, but we encountered significant issues. The first room (2203) had a strong sewage smell from the moment we arrived. Although a staff member attempted to treat the odor with a liquid neutralizer twice, it was a temporary fix, and the smell returned, prompting us to change rooms. The next room (2251) was also affected by the smell. My husband’s clever trick of covering the vents with towels and running the fan continuously reduced the odor but did not eliminate it. Additionally, the bed in our first room was quite noisy, disrupting sleep whenever one of us moved. Noise was another drawback. While it’s great to see the staff enjoy their work, their morning conversations and laughter were loud enough to wake us up daily. The thin walls also made us aware of late-night celebrations in neighboring rooms, making it difficult to relax. Overall, Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort has a lot going for it with its convenient location, lovely aesthetics, and private island experience. However, issues like the rocky beach, pervasive sewage smell, and noise disruptions significantly impacted our stay.
