    Friendly staff and a great experience

    We stayed 6 nights and it was a great time. The staff were excellent! Special shoutouts to Erick, Didier, Fernando and Alex for making us feel welcomed from day one. FYI the reservation portal isn’t the greatest, if you’re having a hard time getting one, we found success by walking in and asking.

    Just do it.

    The whole place was amazing! From the moment we checked in we were treated like stars. Our butler team was amazing, Damian and Miguel helped us make dinner reservations, and were very helpful at keeping us up to date on all resort activities. Although there are plenty of excursion options we never felt we needed to leave the resort to find something to do. All the restaurants on the resort had great food and we never felt like it was difficult to get into them. The Spa was great, we had complementary hydrotherapy and the staff was great! The gym was also a place we loved. From the pool to the beach we got plenty of sun and drinks all day everyday! From children to teens and adults you will find your place there. There are so many more things I could rave about but if you are thinking about going, just do it and be ready for a party!

    Great holiday!

    Loved my stay at planet Hollywood resort, everything was great from the food to the entertainment team, the hotel was really clean, the staff are friendly and work hard to make sure you have a really good stay. Moses and sharem from the entertainment team were so much fun. We would definitely come back x

    All around experience

    The experience was nice until we had a waiter harass us in the VIP section on Disco night. To sit there you had to purchase a bottle. We did. We paid for one through bottle service. The manager was the one who told me that we will get seats in the VIP and he sat us. We did not have to bring our bottle. He even told me how to pack it in my checked luggage. The waiter came over and insisted that we move. Mind you no one was even sitting in VIP at the time. After we told him how we were escorted to those seats, he still insisted that we move. We pointed out the guys that already knew about the VIP and he refuse to listen. He wasn’t even a manager, just a waiter. The guys that were selling the bottles and a manager told him. He came back continued to harass us, telling we had to move. We felt like he was being racist at this point, so we complained to hotel management, gave bottle back and requested our money back. We got upgraded but we already had top of line rooms(swim out). So there was not much they could do customer service wise. On another note, it rained one night. We woke up to the bathroom ceiling leaking and had a big puddle. Maintenance came and fixed the problem but did not clean his mess. We had to call for room service because she never showed up. We done ate, went to beach and hung out, giving them time to clean. We get back to the room and it was not cleaned. You had to make reservations to almost every restaurant. It was hard to get in. The app barely worked. Reservations were full when I used it but my husband can pull up the app at the same time and find an opening. Pool was nice. Drinks were watered down. We recommend doing excursions. We did Xoximilco Cancun. Best money spent!

    Didier and edwar were the MOST accommodating people ever! Instantly they made us feel special and provided top class service Give these men a raise We first started with a strawberry cheesecake shot and it was AMAZING visit these guys at the scene bar
