Amazing Hotel!
This resort is SO beautiful and so clean. We stayed in the reserve adults only side. We LOVED the adults only beach service. Rafael is the best and the guy you want to see! He was attentive to us all week, setting up our towels/chairs and constantly bringing drinks. Amazing service! Our concierge Zenovia was fabulous. She took care of our dinner reservations and helped us with some room items. Great service and so fun and nice. All of the staff is great and very personable, especially Rafael and Zenovia. We’ll definitely be coming back to this resort.

Thansgiving Family Time
It was a good place to spend our Thanksgiving vacation! We were able to eat dinner together each night even though we had a large group. The staff was ver accommodating. There were activities for the kids and adults to participate in every day!

This is not a 5 star hotel
This is not a 5* hotel. The place is beautiful. Managers and staff are amazing. We recommend the Japanese restaurant and the Steak house. You need to try the Espresso Martini by Maria. Few hiccups! We had a concierge that couldn't make reservations for us before 8-9pm with a 1 year old baby. We had to make our own reservations to get 6pm. Worst restaurant was Malva. We ordered a bottle of wine and it took 45 minutes to get it. Food was horrible. Many tables around us left without finishing their main course. We do not recommend the Italian restaurant. We had to return a desert because there was hair on the desert. Food took at least 45 minutes to be served. During the afternoon, there was no vibe at the main pool, no entertainment. The place is very quiet.

NOT a 5* Resort. Lower Expectations and have a great time.
This is NOT a 5 star resort, more like 3.5- 4 stars on a good day. Pros: Large beach, close to Cocatal for golf, smaller pools throughout the resort in front of the buildings on the north side end up being like private pools, although I might be upset if I paid for a swim out room that’s open to the public. Cons: If you are not a Circle member or part of their time share program you are limited in the food options in most restaurants and access to many amenities throughout the resort. You need reservations for all of the restaurants except the buffet but all of the time slots are reserved for Circle members and timeshares….many people were complaining. Service in the buffet for all meals was very hit or miss. Twice I had to go to the service cart and get my own water. The daytime entertainment by the main pool and beach was some of the worst we’ve experienced in almost 20 years vacationing in the Caribbean. The buffet food was just ok, 3 out of 5 when comparing to other Paradisus resorts in Mexico. The water at the beach was warm and swimmable but murky due to the seaweed…not their fault but still a bummer.

Beauty and the Beach
What a fantastic stay! Edgar was incredible the entire week. Always asking us what we needed. Providing shuttles, answering questions, recommending places. He was courteous, respectful and because of him we will definitely be back. Clean beach, amazing food, helpful warm staff. Rafael and Martin at the beach made sure we had loungers by the Ocean, cold beer and great laughs. What a spectacular time!
