Jun 09, 2025Quiet Family Resort-- Reserve not worth the price
Outside of issues with handicapped accessibility, my family had a fabulous time at this resort. The scenery is beautiful, and the common areas and rooms are clean. The resort is very tame and sometimes quiet at peak times you would think it would liven up but the service is undeniably good, with all of our requests being met with a smile from every employee we encountered. Food at the buffets is edible, but food at the restaurants is better and flavorful. Drinks are amazing! We upgraded to the Reserve Club to ensure premium liquor but struggled to find the value in the upgrade, considering it appeared premium liquor was available to anyone on the resort, and there was no checking for wristbands on the private "Reserve Beach". We consistently saw kids in pools and spaces supposedly reserved for adults only. The room was identical to the others in our party without the upgrade. The only real benefit we found in the Reserve Club was our personal concierge, MJ. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and truly cared about me and my party, ensuring we enjoyed our stay. He quickly met our requests and made our dinner reservations. This is definitely a resort for an older crowd or for families.

Had a great time. Most of all, staff was amazing. . A big thank you to Franchesca at flora restaurant. She made our night so fun. Great food, great shows, beautiful pools, great service. Can’t say enough about the beach. Already thinking about coming back next year.

I've stayed in 20+ hotels in the last year, everything from 5-star Maldives to 1-star motel in Australia, even 2 Airbnbs. This resort is by far the most inconsistent experience. Housekeeping is all over the place, sometimes not remembering to make up our room, sometimes forgetting to replenish tea and coffee, sometimes missing a towel or flannel. It's surprisingly basic stuff and tells me there's a lack of process and checklists. Food standard is pretty average. There's much made on the website about the high end restaurants, it's not reality. Most meals were fine, but the standard of cooking suggests the chefs need further training to align with the aspirations to be finer dining. That said we found The Winery, Mina and Tokimeku to be good, you can tell it's close to being consistently really good. Overall I wouldn't return here. And I'd advise anyone who is really looking for great food and consistently high standards to look elsewhere. But if you like big resorts, if food isn't that important, if you're more relaxed about consistency, this could still be perfect for you. Especially if you're in The Reserve and you have someone like Zenovia as your concierge... she was brilliant. As was management when they were made aware of some of the issues.

Amazing
Had the best time here and the most fun. Beautiful hotel and scenery. The staff were amazing and attentive and were so friendly especially Leticia, Olga, Raysa, Santo, Sugey! They were all incredible and beyond a pleasure to see them everyday. Thank you for an amazing holiday :)

Poolside Perfection and Amazing Service!
I had the best time ever at Paradisus Palma Real! The highlight for me was definitely the pool bar: Leticia, Raysa, and Olga were absolutely amazing. They made delicious drinks every time and were always so friendly, welcoming, and fun to chat with. Their energy really made the experience unforgettable. I also want to give a special shoutout to Mr. Junior, who served me many times during my stay. He was incredibly attentive, professional, and just an all-around legend, truly the GOAT of hospitality.
