    Lovely place

    I was worried after having read some of the reviews but honestly I need not have. Wonderful resort which was clean and the beds were so comfy and peaceful. No problem with noise coming from other rooms which can ruin my holiday. Food was great with so much choice and we got sun beds everyday even though we didnt go to the beach often until after 10 am. My only compliant was the attitude of one staff member who was very rude to us and seemed to be managing the bowling area. It didn't spoil our stay but was unnecessary !!! The piano man was incredible and we went to see him every night and had the mango martini. This is a great hotel for families or groups. I went with my daughter who is in her twenties and there was something for us both. Thanks for a lovely stay

    Great experience

    Everyone was super friendly and our butler was extremely helpful and super sweet! Will definitely be back. Only downfall was calling room service, they never showed up ever after calling 3 times to ask what’s happening. But if you order it on the website it’ll work.

    5-Star Review – Another Unforgettable Stay at Ocean Blue & Sand!

    We just returned from an incredible stay at Ocean Blue and Sand in Punta Cana, and we’re already dreaming about going back! Even before we arrived, Nelson, the Concierge Manager, was making sure everything was in place for a smooth and relaxing trip. Due to a flight delay, we arrived after the Privilege office had closed, but thanks to Nelson’s planning and care, everything was ready for us. We felt taken care of from the moment we arrived — even late at night! We were so lucky to have Tomas as our butler — he was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. On the day of our anniversary, we returned to find our room beautifully decorated — such a thoughtful and heartfelt surprise. Tomas also arranged a late check-out for us when he learned about our evening departure, which made our last day so much more comfortable and stress-free. His kindness and attention to detail truly made our trip unforgettable. The Privilege pool staff were also fantastic — warm, friendly, and always quick to offer great service with a smile. They made relaxing by the pool feel like a dream every day. Our room was always spotless, thanks to the wonderful housekeeping team. They clearly take pride in what they do, and it showed in the comfort and cleanliness of our space. The beach has seen some beautiful improvements — it was clean, inviting, and absolutely perfect for a morning stroll or an afternoon under the sun. The grounds throughout the resort were also immaculate and lush — so well cared for, it felt like paradise. Mike’s Coffee House quickly became one of our favorite spots — the coffee and pastries were delicious, and the friendly staff always greeted us with a smile. And as animal lovers, we couldn’t help but fall in love with the sweet resort cats! It was heartwarming to see them so well cared for, and they brought a unique charm to the resort that we’ll always remember. This was more than just a vacation — it was a truly memorable experience, thanks to the amazing people who make Ocean Blue and Sand so special. Huge thanks to Nelson, Tomas, and the entire team. We can’t wait to return!

    Awesome time at Ocean Blue and Sands

    We were treated like royalty from when we arrived at the property to when we left. Maximo Ogando, the manager in guest services, took care of all of our needs. I have had the fortune to work and live in many countries worldwide, and let me say that Maximo is at the top of my list when it comes to service and problem-solving. I did not go to Ocean Blue expecting to find his kind/level of service, but needless to say, as I have described above, I did. I can also mention another person, Katheryn Ruiz Peralta. Every morning, she was at the unbelievable Buffet at Ocean Blue. Her gentle smile, wonderful attitude, and constant care were outstanding. Look, in the world of resorts, there are breathtaking properties everywhere, and so there have to be attributes that make a difference. If I sound like I am making a commercial for Ocean Blue and Sands, please forgive me. This is the first time I have been moved enough to share my experience. Maximo and Katheryn led the field of many like themselves at Ocean Blue and Sands. I very highly recommend this resort as a place to vacation. PS, I saw six beach weddings, three in one day, that came off spectacularly. My wife and I are already planning a return holiday in November. Thank you Maximo you are the Best!     We would definitely come back!

    Our first time to the DR and we weren’t really sure where to stay. My friend did some researching and we chose this resort. Thankfully it turned out to be a great choice! Things we loved: the cleanliness, the layout of the resort (easy to navigate), the rooms were very large and nice, the pool area was beautiful, the beach was nice, there was LOTS to do, the staff was so wonderful and went out of their way to make us welcome, everyone was friendly, and the food was abundant and delicious! There’s lots of restaurants to choose from and I loved that they had a coffee shop which actually made good coffee! We have no complaints but want to mention things that others may not like: It’s a lot of walking so if you have limited mobility it may be an issue getting around. They do have trams to take you if needed. Also, you will get roped into doing the vacation club speech. And it’s a VERY LONG speech. So If someone from the resort says they want to meet with you to “tell you about the resort” say NO! (Unless you do want to buy into the vacation club).
