    Family friendly all the way!

    Just came back from a week there. We booked primarily because we needed a suite of 2 bedrooms/3 baths which was perfect for our family of 6! Kids were 4,7, 10 and 13 and had endless options for activities. Resort was very clean, staff was helpful and polite. We loved the activity options for all ages from kids club, teens club, pools, adult only areas, tennis, mini golf, using boogie boards and bikes! Food reviews: a bit repetitive and would love to have had more authentic options like street tacos, late night eats like burgers, popcorn vs just the pizza place. Restaurant options were ok as well. Really liked there was a to-go option for coffee early in the AM. Well done on the theme nights and the beach party on our last night was the best send off! Some things to consider for guests: room service options later, check out procedure explained with the checkout papers and departure slip. It was a great first experience for the kids for an all inclusive. Very family friendly.

    Urgent Concern Regarding Service Dog Policy

    Marival Emotions Resorts & Suites Team, I am writing to express my profound disappointment following a recent interaction with your reservations team concerning my son's certified service dog, Freddy. As frequent travelers, we were surprised and disheartened by the policy stating that Freddy would not be allowed in dining areas, even if management were to make an exception by allowing Freddy to stay at the property. This pet policy at Marival Emotions Resorts & Suites is particularly concerning as Freddy's role is to be by my son's side at all times due to his disabilities. We had planned a relaxing and memorable trip to celebrate our daughter's recent college graduation. Still, unfortunately, due to the restrictions communicated to us regarding Freddy, my son and I could not proceed with the trip, forcing us to stay behind as we dropped the rest of our family off at the airport. Freddy is a fully certified service dog in the United States and is essential for my son's well-being. He accompanies my son to school for the same reasons and has been a lifesaver, intervening in life-threatening situations, most recently in January. Freddy has traveled globally with us, and we have never faced any issues with airlines or hotel properties, nor have we been subject to additional charges due to his presence. As required by his role, the refusal to accommodate Freddy in all areas directly impacts my son's ability to travel and stay comfortably and safely outside his home environment. We hope that Marival Emotions Resorts & Suites will align more closely with the practices we have encountered at other establishments worldwide, which support accessibility and inclusion for all guests, especially those with specific needs. Marival Emotions Resorts & Suites' policy for service dogs is unacceptable to us because Freddy's role is to be by my son's side constantly due to his disabilities. The inability to have Freddy accompany us in all areas significantly impacted our travel plans. Following the cancellation, I received an offer for a special discount on a new booking as a gesture of goodwill. However, the discount provided was a mere $18 less than the rate on your website, which hardly seems considerate given the circumstances. This situation caused significant inconvenience and disappointment to our family, highlighting a severe issue with accommodating service animals at your property. We hope for a resolution acknowledging the inconvenience and reconsidering the accommodation of service animals so that families like ours can enjoy their stays without such barriers.     The resort is amazing, the staff is the best especially Michell, Daniel, Edith and Luis. It is the first time here with my grandmother and we love it here. We hope to be back soon. We had fun at the contest games like beach volleyball, waterpolo and the competitions. We are very happy with our stay.

    Overall, a great family trip!

    We went with a large group for the 3rd year in a row as owners, and had a wonderful time! There were a few things, however, that I didn't care for.. Like the hike in the daily cost of the all-inclusive, and the difficulty in making dinner reservations. Enrique in concierge was very attentive to making sure we were comfortable in our rooms (the pillows were rock hard at first, they replaced all of them for me) The Animation team is always amazing! David is my absolute favorite Animation member, and it amazes me that even tho I only see him 10 days a year, he always remembers me immediately, and welcomes me with a hug and a smile! Marival is very lucky to have a man like David working for them. Our favorite waiters by far, are Guillermo and Jose, usually upstairs at Amalfi (if Amalfi is closed, we usually see them downstairs at La Pergola, or working one of the large festivals when they close the restaurants for the night). Both of them are always absolutely amazing, and treat us like celebrities. Dalia at M&M bar upstairs always brings us the best drinks and is always so friendly! Elisabeth at La Bamba is great when we go for breakfast! Always remembers us, and is quick to bring me my usual cappuccino with Bailey's, and a mimosa with extra strawberries. And my youngest son almost always gets banana pancakes, but asks for a different amount of pancakes everytime. She always right away asks him how many pancakes he wants that day. Mai Tai can be hit-or-miss.. service can be quite slow, food sometimes gets missed or comes cold (like Mozzarella sticks come when the cheese hasn't been melted). The waiter that stands out as being awesome tho, is Marcos! He always made sure everything was great! Housekeeping this year was pretty disappointing. Hearing of other visitors near our room being mistreated after a small child got sick in their bed.. housekeeping refused to service their room the entire week, telling them that they're disgusting for it happening. Our fridge was supposed to be restocked daily, and was only restocked once or twice in the 10 days after placing complaints with Enrique, and leaving notes in the room in spanish requesting a restock. They also missed replacing washcloths one of the days, so we didn't have any. Even tho we had a few issues, the trip itself was very much worth it, and we had a great time. I always seek out David and Guillermo right away when we arrive to get hugs. And they always seem just as excited to see me as I am to see them. They are truly amazing people, and I just love them! AND! As if that wasn't enough, we actually were able to see killer whales during breakfast one morning!

    We will definitely be back!

    Marival emotions is a special place for me, it is where my now fiancé asked me to be his girlfriend. We will be bringing our kids one day soon, we love how much they incorporate the kids. Kary was amazing to upgrade us to a suite on the top floor. Everything was amazing and beautiful as always.
