    Week in paradise

Our vacation to Margaritaville was a wonderful experience!! And we had the best Butler, Mariel and Armando, who went above and beyond, assisting all of our needs and planning our experience. We had an amazing week in paradise. I would highly recommend Margaritaville!! But I do wish there was more of a beach, but that is out of there hands. Thank you Margaritaville for all of your kindness. You are now our friends ❤️

    Greatest honeymoon ever

Such an amazing stay for my new husband and I. We were greeted by Diego who made sure our entire stay went smoothly. He set up a spa day and a romantic dinner for just us. The daily activities were so much fun. Made so much better with Naysin there bringing so much positive energy. She called us out by name every day to congratulate us and made sure to chat with us briefly every day. Definitely made us feel special. We would go back in a heartbeat for another relaxing trip. Amazing food and amazing drinks. Very positive staff all around.

    Soy Mexicano en mi alma

Came here on a family vacation and was impressed with how amazing the service was all around! Gibran mixes the best, and everybody else was so friendly! Housekeeping is impeccable, Regina is a great coordinator and Ivan and Genardo at 5 o’clock made my day for many days. 10/10 would recommend!

    Great honeymoon experience!

We went for our honeymoon this May and had the absolute greatest time! We were met by Diego who had some margarita pops for us and was available for us the entire stay (6 days). We woke up most morning to do some water volleyball and some water aquatic's with the most amazing human Naysin who made the entire stay super entertaining! Make sure to say hi to her if you are staying. The food was tasty, was a little sad that the steak house really only had up charged steaks but when in Mexico you just go for the tasty Mahi Mahi! The Italian restaurant was our favourite and we could eat there every night just for their risotto balls. If you’re staying for a few days make sure to get the growler from the Landshark bar and always have your room fridge stocked with some amazing beer. We were a big fan of the lager and the west coast IPA. But all four beers on taps were amazing. We were a little disappoint when going to the spa and being told that for them to apply aloe would be 20$ a person after spending nearly 200$ a person to go there. And that after buying some cigars, the only matches we could find were 15$, but just make sure before you go there to expect that. It was our first time at an all inclusive so it was a learning lesson. Last the event there are amazing. Make sure to download the Margaritaville app (something I wish I knew more about before coming) so you know exactly what is going on during your stay. We went to the foam party and it was so much fun, the Mexican and the Caribbean nights at the boathouse were both super entertaining. Make sure to also save some time before dinner to go to the salt lick bar. Tastiest drinks in the resort!

The Weather is here, Wish you were beautiful

We have visited 10 different resorts stretching from Cancun to Tulum - this was our first visit to this one. Overall, the property, the people and the vibe was great! If you are looking for a chill, hang at the pool, interrupted by an occasional fun activity, then this place is perfect. It is not a spring-break, crazy place. First, a shout out to some wonderful staff members - Karen, Ervin, and Gary were great butlers. The entertainment team was friendly and very high energy - Regina, Debbie, Brenda are great. Carlos the sommelier can find you a great, inexpensive wine. The waiters and bartenders at all the restaurants and bars were spot on great. Sorry - we didn't get everyone's name. The check-in process was smooth as was the check-out. Our room was a 3rd floor, ocean front room. We enjoyed the patio, the view and the nicely appointed room. The main evening restaurant choices - JWB Steakhouse and Frank and Lolas are both top tier. I normally don't get steak outside of the US (or even Texas), but the steak was pretty good. We visited JWB twice - great the first time. The second time they were a bit overwhelmed and it didn't look like it would be that great. Karen moved us right down to Frank and Lola's for a lovely lasagna. I thought we would like JWB better, but if repeating, I would choose Frank & Lola's. On alternating nights, the Boathouse features different themed dinners with entertainment. The Boathouse is typically "food display" but will have menus on some nights. The outdoor "License to Chill" restaurant hosted Asian cuisine one evening as well. So, while there are only 2 main evening restaurants, the special evenings filled in so we only had one repeat. This resort is operated by Karisma. I have been to many of their resorts and the food is always top notch, especially for an all-inclusive. The resort has 2 different swim-up bars with great bartenders and drinks! The resort also has a microbrewery featuring Landshark beers. The Landshark has a sports bar theme, great lunch and evening entertainment. This is a beachfront property; However, storms in 2020 wiped out the beach. We stayed next door several times years ago and there was a beautiful beach. Now, the resorts seawall is the water's edge. The process of beach restoration is not favored by the Mexican government. So, while the resort plans a restoration, it could be some time in the future. If you require beach, this might not be your place. If you enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean you will love it. It was 30% occupancy when we were there. This is a new resort and they are still ramping up staff and operations. There will be one more restaurant in the future and possibly a restoration of the beach. Our trip was great. Not sure if they are ready for 100% occupancy yet, but they will get there!
