We had dinner at the gourmet restaurant and it was delicious. Elpidio, Martina, Lorenny, and Junior were fantastic and very attentive. We had a great time. They even sang happy birthday and made me feel very special. Elpidio has a great singing voice

We had a start so so at our arrival. But we address our concerns and Yeferson and Martha took great care of us. Happy! ☺️
We had concern’s at the start with the hotel but everything switched around with the good care of Martha and Yeferson. We felt heard and important. The experience is amazing now for us and my 80 years old parents. Good service, thanks so much ☺️

We had a wonderful time on our visit. The resort was beautiful and the staff were all very friendly. We did the vip club and really enjoyed the private pools and beach area. They have a special lounge also that has food and drinks all the time if you wanted a little snack in between. Our butler checked in every day with us, even his day off, to see if we needed anything. We would stay there again.

Amazing Stay at Majestic Colonial Resort (November 22–29, 2024) Our stay at the Majestic Colonial Resort was absolutely incredible, and the exceptional service from the staff truly made it memorable. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Darel, our butler, as we stayed on the Club side. He ensured our trip was seamless from start to finish. Darel met us at check-in, managed our luggage, and helped us settle into our rooms with ease. Throughout our stay, Darel went above and beyond to make our group of 10 feel special. He checked in with us daily, made restaurant reservations—even when it seemed impossible—and organized excursions, such as the unforgettable dune buggy adventure. He ensured our rooms were always well-stocked with snacks and drinks and promptly handled details like pillow and sheet replacements. His attention to detail and care truly elevated our experience and made us feel incredibly well cared for. A big shout-out also goes to Maria Gomez, our maid, who did a phenomenal job keeping our room spotless and leaving thoughtful decorations that brightened our days. Similarly, Gemelin, who worked in the Club Lounge, was always welcoming, cheerful, and accommodating. Her exceptional hospitality and warm demeanor added a personal touch to our experience. Dining Experiences The resort offered a variety of dining options, and most were excellent. The Japanese restaurant was a standout, with incredible food and attentive service. We dined at the Rodeo Steakhouse twice because the steaks and ribs were absolutely perfect. The Mexican restaurant also impressed us with its flavorful dishes and exceptional service. Unfortunately, the French restaurant fell a bit short—the food was overly salty, and the service was just average. The buffet was decent, especially for breakfast, although there were occasional delays in replenishing popular items like bacon and bread. Overall, the dining experiences were enjoyable, with a few minor hiccups. Entertainment While our overall stay was wonderful, one area where the resort fell short was the entertainment. Out of the seven nights, only two stood out. The Michael Jackson show was outstanding and one true highlight of the trip. The circus show was also enjoyable, though we noticed the costumes could use some updates as many had visible wear. Unfortunately, the other nights lacked engaging activities, leaving us to find alternative ways to entertain ourselves. This is an area that could use improvement to enhance the guest experience further. Beach & Pool The beach was stunning, offering the perfect setting for relaxation. While the ocean was a bit choppy, the water was gorgeous, and the beach massages added a touch of luxury to our stay. The pool was also enjoyable, though unheated, which wasn’t a major issue given the warm weather. Our group particularly loved the volleyball games, which we organized ourselves, making it a highlight of our poolside time. Rooms The rooms were spacious and comfortable, though there were some humidity-related issues. Once we informed Darel, he promptly resolved everything by ensuring fresh pillows, linens, and proper upkeep. His quick action ensured our comfort throughout the stay. Overall, our experience at the Majestic Colonial Resort was fantastic. The exceptional service provided by Darel was the highlight of our trip—his dedication and kindness made all the difference. Maria Gomez and Gemelin also deserve recognition for their outstanding hospitality. While the entertainment could use some improvement, everything else—from the stunning beach to the delicious dining—made our stay unforgettable. This resort is perfect for those looking to relax, enjoy excellent food, and experience top-notch service. We had an amazing time!
