Super Staff
I've been to the Kensington before and had some very good stays and was expecting the same. I wasn't disappointed. Checkin was done by Samanta, who has obviously been well trained. She did a good job and my stay got off on the right foot. Rooms are small, but they have everything you need. The Executive Lounge is now in the main restaurant at night, with the old lounge still available if you wish to have privacy. Yuki and Taylah (sorry, might be spelt wrong) provided exceptional service and both worked non-stop. The gym next door is very dated, overcrowded , has very low ceilings and should really be scrapped. The hotel staff seemed unsure how the while system worked. Breakfast hit the spot and is consistently good. Overall, another winning stay and I'll be back.

A pleasant stay at Marriott London Kensington
Initially discouraged by online reviews suggesting that the London Marriott Hotel Kensington fell short of a four-star rating, I was hesitant to proceed with my reservation. However, an unexpected visit to the hotel lobby changed my perspective entirely. The warm and welcoming concierge, sporting an impressive beard, engaged me in conversation and kindly offered to show me around the premises. During the cocktail hour, the hotel provided a delightful array of delicious food and beverages for its esteemed members. The variety and quality of the offerings were truly impressive and ultimately convinced me to proceed with my stay. I was not disappointed. The hotel demonstrated its commitment to Marriott Bonvoy members by graciously upgrading me to a spacious room. The staff exhibited genuine sincerity and courtesy, making me feel right at home. The breakfast buffet boasted a wide selection, and I particularly enjoyed the made-to-order egg station. The chef's attention to detail and the richness of ingredients made for a memorable dining experience. The hotel's central location was a major advantage, with two underground stations ( Earl’s Court , Gloucester Road)within a convenient 5-minute walk. Furthermore, Hyde Park and various museums were easily accessible by foot. Given my positive experience, I look forward to the opportunity to stay at the London Marriott Hotel Kensington again in the future. I would kindly request a room with a street view to maximize natural light.

A Courtyard disguised as a Marriott
Falls short of a four star hotel. The hotel is modest, more a Courtyard than a Marriott. Carpets need a refresh, halls are dark and narrow. Smallish room with odd shower curve wall that renders half the stall unusable. Food passable but uninspired. Good location, most staff are helpful, room service engaged/pleasant and efficient. No concierge level. Not a good value for the cost.

Front Office needs a serious upgrade
I wrote a review for this hotel in Feb this year. Gave it 4 stars. Serina of the front office was the reason - warm and pleasant experience upon check-in. This time, while I understand I had to wait because I arrived way too early for check-in, the way my case was handled was not the Marriott way. I should know because I am now a Bonvoy Titanium member. I am calling out Raouia of the Front Office. A little charm and customer orientation can go a long way for you and your career.

A great clean hotel. Close to Kensington high street and underground
We stayed with our family last week. The room was fantastic, very spacious and clean. The staff were very kind and responsive. Breakfast was exceptional. Looking forward to our next trip. We loved the closeness to the underground and Kensington high street.
