Not Ready for Primetime
Unfortunately, the resort suffered from Hurricane Ian of 2022, but with the temporary closure of amenities, and the current accommodations, it does not warrant the prices being charged. It was very disappointing, and I would not be inclined to return for a stay in Naples. The hotel was not clean, and it looked like it was nowhere near being ready to reopen. I wish them all the best, but it is not worth the price currently being charged.

Do not recommend
Because of the hurricane most amenities were closed. They were still doing constructions on site and I could hear them drilling which made the whole room to vibrate. The room was dirty, I saw ants everywhere. The only good thing was staff. They were nice.

Absolutely beautiful dream resort
Arrived the rooms in the gulf tower were not connecting and not two queens And a king but one phone all the manager Claude sorted everything out and moved us to the most beautiful rooms ever! Large balconies, comfortable home from home rooms. Dielectric access to the beach. Robes. Everything just spot on. The food in the restaurants was delicious. We loved everything about La Playa. The beach is pristine. The staff and service service impeccable, especially Claude who retrieved my clothes I stupidly forgot there and gave us two wonderful rooms. We will be back next year hopefully if everything is ok in Naples after the terrible hurricane.

Lost in a storm
Lost a day due to storm evacuation. Not really to blame for that however, no attempt at restitution or credit delivered since package was paid in full in advance. Branding and service still matter to some consumers. Not impressed with follow up with travelers negatively impacted by circumstances. Although they assisted booking in another sister site....I did have to pay 2 additional nights at market rate to keep a roof over our heads......As long as the parent company gets paid I guess.
