Very Bad experience, hotel is under construction.
We are 6 couples here now for our vacation. But, the hotel is up our vacation, because of the hotel situations. The hotel is under construction now (December 3rd, 2023) the hotel don't have cold water and air condition is not working (they said it all broken last night) Just image, your self spend money and take time off and come for relax and enjoy. But with air condition, you cannot sleep and you can't wash your face or take bath from your hotel room....... I don't want to say anything else. Before you book this hotel, please check couple of times. Personally I don't recommend this hotel for vacation.

Miserable in Jamaica!
We should have had an Oceanview room, instead we were given a pool side view. Two of the nights were terribly disturbed by a room party, the music was extremely loud, no sleep those two nights. Once we returned the hotel sent a review; however, it was not in English. Unsure what language it was in. Apparently the phones in the room did not work. What a bummer to travel such a long way to be miserable.

Bad Experience at the Rose Hall Beach
This was our first time back to Jamaica in 13 years., and the Iberostar Resort. The weather was great during our 8 night stay. We found that the service and customer service at the hotel was almost non-existent. In the buffet's, you were lucky to get someone to pour you water at the table. Being Rose Gold Members, we stayed in the Presidential suite, which was very nice, and it also gave us access to the Grand and the Suites. The service for members varies between countries, and you never know what to expect. It would be nice to have a consistent experience and not have to fight with the club staff all the time. You never knew what restaurants were open or closed, and even the staff did not really know. The food at the buffet and beach was the same every day, no variety. The best A-La-Carte was the Brave (Suites), which had better food then the Galleon (Grand). The French at the Grand was disappointing. The SPA staff doing massages on the beach were always late for your appointments, and you usually had to call to find out what was going on. There was also a disconnect between the staff at the hotel and the Club. The hotel staff did not seem to realize that Iberostar had Club members. Overall, I don't that we will be back. Too many negatives.

Mediocre and overprized resort
Terrible resort. Careless stuff. Kids club is a joke as run by women who look extremally tired and not interested in children at all. Food is horrible, the same every day no variety. No entertainment. Absolute absence of leadership. Managers look clueless and never give you an answer to any question. There are unauthorizes people go up and down the beach trying to sell you rubbish while you are laying on the beach. No privacy Go to Hyatt just down the road - its an 180 degree different experience.

Pleasantly Surprised
My wife and I stayed at Iberostar Rose Hall Beach during Thanksgiving week for a friend's 60th birthday party. Prior to visiting the resort, I read quite a few negative reviews on Tripadvisor with complaints ranging from roaches, smelly rooms, bad service and rude staff. I was pleasantly surprised that we did not have that kind of experience there. Our room, grounds and beach were very clean. The staff to a person was very friendly and professional. The food, like most all inclusives is good, but not great. I would recommend the Italian restaurant. The spa, which is centrally located in the neighboring Rose Hall Suites, is very nice. We enjoyed the massages there as well as the heated jacuzzi style pool. There are vendors on the beach but they were not overly aggressive. My wife and I had some pleasant conversations with them even when we did not purchase anything from them. Overall, even though the resort is more of a 3 star resort than a 5 star, we definitely got our money's worth and would recommend it.
