    What An Amazing Hotel and Golf Course!

    My wife and I were guests at the Iberostar for our 50th wedding anniversary. This is a truly amazing hotel and golf course. The golf course rates as a 10 and the hotel is kept spotless with an outstanding group of employees who are extremely friendly. We received a "hello or hola" every time we passed one of them. The housekeeping crew kept our room in perfect condition with twice daily cleanings. A special shout out to Amayrani who left rose petals on our bed in the shape of a heart...a very nice nice touch! We had two butlers stationed in our building who catered to our every whim. They answered all of our questions, provided transportation and became our best friends for a week. Thank you to Antonio and Luis for making our anniversary very special! The only drawback that we had at Iberostar is that their app only worked occasionally on my phone. I had to to uninstall and download it a few times in order to get it to work.

    Beautiful but....

    We go to The Riviera Maya twice a year, we tried this resort from February 19th to the 24th. Ocean front suite with Butler service, building 71. We loved Marcello, our Butler in building 71 ! Not just for the extras he provided which included flowers , champagne, chocolates , a bubble bath and every request we had....he is genuinely kind and this resort needs more people like him. Daniel at the Japanese restaurant was the other stand out! We went once out of the week and he also stood out as someone who loves what he does and makes guests feel so incredibly special ! Daniel & Marcello made our week. The grounds and the ocean are beautiful. Breakfast buffet was cold every day, lunch options terrible. Dinners mostly great , but reservations are a pain. Entertainment very lacking . Why in the world do they have guests come into a crowded garden solarium when they could have music and dancing outside. We Paid 7200 for 6 nights...Marcelllo and Daniel were amazing, beach was beautiful...wandered over to the other complexes and the mall, just not our thing as fifty year old adults .

    Great vacation!

    Just back from 9 days at the Paraiso Grand in the Mayan Riviera (Feb. 15-24, 2024). This resort is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. The service/staff is exceptional, and many employees need to be praised for their amazing care. First place goes to our butler Miguel who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and special. He checked-in regularly and followed-up on any issue we had. He even placed rose pedals on our bed for our anniversary. The evening butler, Adrian, was pleasant and helpful as well but Miguel was more attentive. Next on the list would be Daniela in the Star Prestige Lounge. She handled problems immediately and followed-up to ensure that everything was taken care of. She is very efficient. Other Star Prestige Lounge honorouble mentions go to Violeta, Mauricio and Saray who also did their best to help us with any questions or concerns. Also in the Star Prestige Lounge were the best bartenders at the resort. We truly enjoyed the delicious creations that Victor, Sergio, and Alejandro made us – usually many times a day 😊 An honourable mention to Armondo at the Mirador who was attentive and greeted you with a smile. At the Star Prestige Beach we were pleased with the attention that Andreas (beach attendant) gave us and appreciated Lorenzo’s efficiency at keeping us hydrated. Hostesses and servers in the restaurants were mostly top notch. Shout out to Melchor (Venecia), Abraham Lopez and Enrick (L’Atelier) and Leonardo (Bella Vista). They were very personable and attentive. I must also mention the omelet station cooks, Rosa and Cristel, as well as the pool waitress, Eunice, who were all very attentive and efficient. Last, but not least, the Grand wouldn’t be the same without Viridiana, entertainment staff, who remembers everyone’s name throughout their stay. She is so bubbly and fun. Honourable mention to Alma, another entertainment staff, who was always pleasant and full of energy. All in all, we had an amazing time at the Grand. The resort, the room, the food, the spa, the golf, and most of all the staff, made this a wonderful vacation. The only negative experience we had was at Taki-To at the Paraiso Shopping Center. We went on our last day (Feb 24 at 4:15 pm) and one of the cooks was quite rude and unaccommodating to us and yet she was pleasant to a Spanish couple that came in after we had. She not only served them first, but she prepared them a meal-to-order but told us that we could not change what was on the menu and could have what was pre-prepared. We walked out and chose to go to the Burger Bar instead. The food there was nothing to write home about but at least the cook was pleasant and attentive. We couldn’t let this experience taint our vacation, but it did leave a bitter taste in our mouths after having met so many wonderful people who worked at the Grand. We do highly recommend the Grand Paraiso but suggest staying clear of Taki-To, unless you speak Spanish.

    Most Beautiful Resort We have Ever Been To!

    This was our first trip to Cancun, and it was to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Iberostar Grand Paraiso was the most perfect vacation ever! Our concierge, Alex, treated us like royalty. He made sure all our needs were being met. Our butlers were always there when we needed something. Every staff member greeted us with smiles on their faces. Quite simply, it was the happiest vibe ever! Our room was on the first floor with a walk-out that was steps from the ocean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The room was quite large, with a sunken sitting area and a huge bathroom complete with jacuzzi tub, separate shower, separate toilet area and two sinks. The two closets were more than ample for our clothes. The food at all the restaurants was fantastic! Grand Paraiso is perfect for everyone over 21. We can't wait to go back next year!!!

    Exceptional in every way!

    Just returning from a week in paradise at this exceptional resort. It is absolutely beautiful! The pictures don't capture the level of outstanding service and hospitality, delicious food and level of accommodation. Our concierge, Fernando, was professional, resourceful, warm and welcoming.
