Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Spring Break Policy - Bookings traveling in the months of March and April will be subject to the following conditions:
· The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18. One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
· In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behaviour or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.
Spring Break Groups Policy - Students/youth are considered between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy for all bookings traveling March-April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:
· Any student/youth group must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
· Upon check-in, each group will be required to leave a refundable cash deposit per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! 1. You cant make a resrvation 2. They encourage you to use the App but they dont honor the reservation made on the app if made after 4pm.. 3. The hot water in two buildings doesnt work and is yellow.. as were trying to get ready for a wedding and the staff was unwilling to help. 4. The buildings are dated and falling apart. 5. The chair on our balcony is stained and looks like a animal has been sleeping on it. When you arrive you can’t make a reservation at the restaurants and forced to eat the buffet which is really mediocre. We will never return and will tell everyone to avoid this place. I would recommend Atelier Playa Mujeres, we stayed there the first two nights of our trip and had a great experience! And it was cheaper…

We are just finishing 10 days in a beautiful villa and it has been a 5-star experience all the way. Our room and private pool were so relaxing and the attentive services of our butlers created a true vacation with no worries. Gustavo was our main butler and exceeded all expectations, with the help of Manuel, Tania, Emanuel and Trini - no request was too big or small and all were responded to very quickly. We also want to recognize housekeeping, cart transportation and mini bar staff. Food was a little variable, as we experience in all all-inclusive resorts, but was definitely a cut above most. Leave it to be said that you will never go hungry and we will have to live on salads when we get home to shed the pounds gained here! Wine included was not to our taste so we did buy a bottle each night at dinner. Our sommelier, Willian, quickly learned our taste profiles and offered delicious wines to add to our meal, and provided us with personalized service. Resort itself is immaculate and beautiful - we loved the views as we ate! No complaints and we can’t wait to return, hopefully next year!!!

Wonderful Hotel and Staff
Wonderful food, entertainment and staff. The entire hotel was super clean and well maintained. The staff in charge of activities were all wonderful. They were personal, engaging and encouraging. Every single employee was well trained. Our butler Tania was amazing! The only complaints were the prices of the spa treatments. They were exceptionally high. The second was that we later found out that the alliance between IAG and Iberostar does not allow credit to be given for our stay since it wasn't booked through Iberostar.com or IHG.com.

Best honeymoon resort
We came to the Grand on our honeymoon and have been treated like royalty. Everyone seems to remember your name and makes sure you have everything you could ever want. We started with an amazing breakfast and we’re showed around by Johnathan who was so genuine and personable. We transferred to the Grand from a different resort with Iberostar and then we met Duran. He got us dinner reservations that night and knew what we wanted. We then came into our hotel room one day and found a bottle of champagne and chocolates with a note congratulating us on our marriage. We mentioned it to another guest service person and came back to our room the same night to our bed filled with rose pedals. If you are looking for a place for your honeymoon where you don’t need to think or plan at all this is where you want to be.
