General Policies & Fine Print
Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price. Minimum night stay restrictions may apply. Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.
Spring Break Policy - Bookings in the months of March and April will be subject to the following conditions:
- The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18. One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
- Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behaviour. of the remaining nights.
- In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behaviour or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

Everything was excellent, food was great and our butler Victor went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and easy as can be. Victor on the last evening surprised us with our room filled with rose petals on the bed, floor & jacuzzi. Very romantic evening with my wife all thanks to Victor

This was our 10th time to the Iberostar Grand Bavaro - It Keeps Getting Better
My wife and I traveled to the Iberostar Grand Bavaro in early August 2023. We had a great time, as usual. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. The Bella Vista was perfect. We were taken care of by Loraine and her excellent staff. I want to mention Samuel, Ortiz, Yari, Alexander, Jose, Guerera, and many more. The La Perla was our lunch spot. Two lovely ladies always greeted us with smiles. That was Maria and Joanna. They were wonderful. They kept the place in order. We had three amazing Butlers, Dawel - who was instrumental in arranging a scooter for my wife. And there was Armando, who had been around for a while and knew where to go to get things done. He has a great personality. And then we had Alex for a couple of days. She was lovely and accommodating. She checked on us to make sure we were okay. We received first-class service from the Butler Team. The Animation Team did a great job daily in keeping everyone involved in the daily activities. The Entertainment was fresh and always fun. Isobel and Yocardi-B kept the team together. They are a great group. The Swim Up Bar was lively, with Ery and Lely keeping the drinks and energy vibrant. This was always a great place to meet old friends and make new ones. Unfortunately, we were saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend Carlos, who served us for many years and who will always hold a spot in our hearts. He worked hard for Iberostar. He was a good man. We loved all of the Gourmet Restaurants, including a new one that just opened called "The Caribbean." This new restaurant is run by our dear friend Loraine. She's in charge but greets takes your order, and keeps her staff together. My wife and I had a wonderful time. And we will be back soon.

We can’t wait to come back “home” to Iberostar Grand Bavaro!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in paradise at Iberostar Grand Bavaro! Our amazing butler, Alberto, gave us an enrapturing orientation and then used our feedback to curate a beautiful three-night experience for us—via delectable dinner reservations, romantic bubble bath, drinks to our tastes, and so much more! The food at each buffet was delicious! The room was so comfortable and clean. We had a lovely view of the property and the ocean. Upon arrival, one lovely hostess in the lobby said: Welcome home! It truly set the tone for our warmly welcoming experience, and we cannot wait to return.

Iberostar Grand... Excellent As Always!
The Iberostar Grand, whether Mexico or Jamaica or Dominican Republic, never disappoints you. They always go way above and beyond to make sure your stay is a great memorable trip. We had many butlers, but Robert for us (room 7104) was the best butler we could ask for. Here's extremely attentive and took such a great care of us. Additionally, in Star Prestige, Dahianna was excellent as well. She was very kind and took care of my wife's birthday flower discretely and it was an awesome surprise for my wife. Everybody was fantastic but these two stood out. Also, Mama Javeila and Mama Maria both from restaurants were such great people. Although short, only 8 days, but it was one of the best trips. Thank you Iberostar Grand and thank you Star Prestige. Much appreciated.

🌴🏖️ What a whirlwind of paradise at Iberostar Grand Bávaro! 🌞🏊♂️ From our swim-up room, where we perfected the art of "splash and chill," to the exceptional butlers Danilo and Robert, who turned every moment into a delightful adventure. 💦🍹 They even teamed up with Tropical Storm Franklin to give us a wild, unforgettable experience! 🌧️🌪️ 👔🎩 Danilo and Robert took luxury service to a whole new level, making us feel like the protagonists of a vacation movie. 🎬 Their creative ideas had us dancing in the rain and sipping cocktails like true island explorers. 🕺🍸 🍝🍷 And oh, the food! The Italian flavors made our taste buds sing, the French cuisine had us saying "ooh la la," and the surf & turf left us speechless (well, after a few bites at least). 🍽️🍰🍤 The Dominican and international nights at the buffet were like a world tour for our palates. 🌍🍴 🌟🌟 I wholeheartedly recommend Iberostar Grand Bávaro for turning a tropical storm into a five-star adventure. It's a place where you can swim, dine, and dance your worries away. An experience that's as unforgettable as a catchy vacation tune stuck in your head! 🎶🕺🌴
