    Great Location, Great Service , Very Professional

    Stayed here for Four nights and was our first visit to the location. We were met with great checking staff who were knowledgeable and helpful and offered us a cava on arrival. The room on the seventh floor had a balcony and sea room with a mini bar and a Nespresso coffee machine, the first four coffees were complimentary after that a charge for refill. We ate in the restaurant all four nights as it was a buffet style at 38 euros each was good value, had a great and extensive selection and the quality was good and the service was great also. The location is right on the beach and surrounded by restaurants, souvenir shops and bars while the beach must be about 7 miles long. We got a taxi into the centre which was about 20 euros and this is also the fee to the Airport, however sometimes they are difficult to get. The bus stop is opposite the hotel almost and about 2.50 euros to get into Palma, we didnt use this as we got taxi instead just for speed . The venue has entertainment at night which was also good. The staff were great and looked as though they cared about your visit. The decor is in a blue and white contrast which makes the venue modern and light, i did not see any signs of wear and tear or looking tired. Well worth a visit

    Fantastic Holiday

    .We had a fabulous week with our friends at this great located Hotel. It was for our Friends 60th Birthday and the Staff done a great job all week, looked after us very well, no wish was to much,even got our Rooms next to each other , it was perfect. The Food was great as well, we had booked Half Board and the verity was perfect for us all, it was hot and very tasty. We have booked already again .

    An IberoSUPERstar in Mallorca.

    We stayed at the Iberostar Hotel because they have joined the IHG symbol group and we use IHG Hotels wherever possible as their 1 Rewards loyalty scheme is very good. This is our second stay in a year having a short break along the extensive Palma Beach Playa de Palma and the location never disappoints. This hotel is just across from the beach and would be described as a 'Beachfront' property although you need to cross the street as you do all the way along PDP. There are 3 Iberostar hotels beside each other. 5 4 and 3 star. This one sits in the middle at 4 start but to be honest behaves like a 5 star. A nice glass of cava on arrival and a cold towel were much appreciated. Check in was easy. You can do it online before hand but this is a trend that I do not like and I did not see may people use it. When I go on holiday I want to meet the people working in the hotel. Say hello to them. Get to know them so they have the opportunity to make sure everything is going ok. No computer interface can do this. So I opted to check-in in person. The team on reception were excellent. I was upgraded because of my 1 Rewards status but they did not take credit for it ......and should have. I was surprised to arrive in a sea view room instead of a low floor pool view room (the view of the pool is amazing though so either would have been ok with me) . There is a roof terrace with an infinity/glass/plunge pool and bar. Excellent staff again. Great insta opportunity if you like that kind of thing. Super views down the beach in either direction. Really great facility although if you swim the main pool is a fantastic and better option. We enjoyed both very much. We opted for half board and decided to go with Breakfast and dinner. You can do breakfast and lunch if you wish. This was a brilliant move. The food , considering the cost difference between B&B and Half Board is pretty small, is simply amazing. The buffet is huge at breakfast and at dinner. If you cannot find something you like you are a very difficult person to please :-) For 4 nights the selection was 80% different every night. It was so much easier than having to go out and wander around trying to decide where to eat each night. Breakfast was excellent too but with fewer changes day to day. Breakfast is Breakfast after all. IMPORTANT - they have fabulous coffee at breakfast from bean to cup machines. I am so sick of terrible coffee in hotels when the solution is easy and effective. Get a cup. Go to the machine. Maybe wait behind one or two people , get a nice fresh coffee of your choice made from real coffee beans. Well done Iberostar management !!!!!! The room was very clean. Recently decorated. I think this is an old hotel that has been refurbished and updated and remodelled without the drastic action of knocking it down and starting again so there are a few strange errrrrrrr 'characteristics' The shower is a glass cubicle which is in the room. Difficult to describe. I like it but if you are not intimately involved with your room-mate it might feel a little strange. Obviously the glass is not clear :-) I like the modern feel of the room. We had a Nespresso machine with some free 'pods' and after your first night a refill of the pods was 6 euro. I am a big coffee drinker so this was a little annoying. Put an extra euro on the room rate and just refill the 6 pods as necessary each day. A small detail. Also in the room there was a carafe to fill with water from the purifying machine on each floor. Each room needs two carafes. Like coffee I drink plenty of water and had to keep going back and forward to the room. ALSO the machine did not work correctly. Offering still, sparkling, Cold Still and Cold Sparkling but actually only delivering still water...... All the staff are fantastic. Morning, Noon, Night. helpful and most importantly genuinely friendly. Irish people and Spanish get on well anyway :-) A few improvements ? Environmental- there is a 'No plastic' policy and this also applies to not serving water in plastic bottles. I agree. BUT, a half litre of purified water at dinner is 3 euro. Sparkling or Still. This is just purified tap water. There is a cost to providing this but it's the same water from the machines on each floor. If you wish to charge mineral water prices , then provide branded water in glass bottles or give water to tables without charge. Free water encourages spending on wine and other drinks at dinner! The hotel is well located near lots of popular attractions. It's in the area most popular with German tourists and there are really great 'beer halls' in the area close by which are great fun. If you look you can find some more traditional Spanish offerings but the hotel restaurant more than provides for this. 5/5 for Staff and Facilities and just being an overall great experience. *Cava at Breakfast !!!! What's not to like about that !!!!!!

    Enjoyable short holiday

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. There was such a high level of attention to detail. The staff were all so friendly and attentive from the receptionists to the waiters and waitresses. The food was wonderful with plenty of options to choose from each day. We would definitely stay again.
