Nov 08, 2025First time visit. No way to know "Club members" get preferential treatment. But now, we know. 😉
We did not know this resort was geared toward "Club members", as it was our first time visiting. They definitely cater to the club members more than first time visitors. I almost felt that i was going to have to sit on the ground at the pool, or in the sand on the beach due to the fact that 95% of the seating was saved for "Club Members". You are definitely treated differently if you are not a club member. There is no way we could have known that being first time visitors, and the Hyatt should most definitely disclose that to first time visitors. Either way, mostvof the employees were very kind. We enjoyed ourselves on our own, even though we were not "Club members". Live and learn.

A great short getaway!
This hotel was perfect for our 5 nt stay for my daughter's birthday celebration. Food was good, drink options were endless, the room was clean with all amenities you would expect. The pool was chilly, it was Oct/Nov so that was expected. There were may activities to choose from if you wish, it was never too loud or crazy, but everyone was having fun. The beach area was nice. Staff went above and beyond to make you comfortable and welcomed.

This place is amazing. It's a smaller resort but we loved it. We will be returning soon. The drinks were good. Food was better than most AI. Staff was exceptional.

Amazing Getaway
My girlfriends and I did a trip here for my 30th birthday in October and we just had the best stay! The resort is gorgeous and open & airy. Our room was quite large for 2 of us girls and it was nice and clean. I liked that the resort was on the smaller side, we didn't have any issue with noise except for one night into early morning, there was some sort of alarm going off which kept my friends and I awake. The pool is great size, never had any issue finding chairs. The beach was easy access, plenty of chairs out there as well. The service was impeccable. Everyone was so so extremely nice and helpful and attentive. Special shoutouts to Antonio with the concierge, Ramzes at the bar, and our favorite, Alejandro at the pool. I felt like I was taken care of at every turn. The food options are good, our particular favorites were the hibachi/sushi and the Lola beach club out at the pool. Lola beach club definitely had our favorite dishes of the trip! We took part in a couple activities like water aerobics, pool volleyball, and guacamole making which were so fun to add a little activity to your day. The activity team (Sandra, Hector, and Ferman) were very fun getting everyone involved. I would not hesitate to book another stay here knowing it would be relaxing and I would be able to just turn my brain off. Thank you for the best bday trip!
