Sun, Sand, Sea and Superb Service and Location

Location, location, location. Kalakaua Avenue is all that separates the hotel from the famous Waikiki Beach. Pack a picnic, pick up the beach chairs and towels that the hotel supplies, cross the street and sink into the welcoming sand. It’s as simple as that. Location also in that it there are plenty of eateries for choice, and stores stocking Hawaiian jewelry, fashions, clothes abound. One does not have to go far. The service is impeccable. Joanna at the front desk made our check in a smooth, pleasurable experience. We checked in on Friday, she informed us of the Hawaiian musical evening. What a wonderful welcome to the city and the hotel. Plenty of classes offered. A market in the atrium offering beautiful hand-made crafts—jewelry, wood carving, clothing. Also foods to entice the palate. An all-encompassing experience that makes for a truly relaxing vacation.

    Close to the beach!

Lovely place, very clean, across the street from the beach. Service was excellent. It was close to everything. They have all kinds of things to do. And several markets including a framers market planned thru out the week.

    Beautiful hotel

The hotel was beautiful, the marketplace they had in the evenings was fun. The pillows were very hard and the beds were not secure on their base. The hotel supplied beach towels and chairs which was a great bonus.

    Hyatt Regency Wakiki lacks dining

The hotel is nice. We had an ocean front room and it was quite comfortable. The biggest drawback is a lack of dining in the hotel. It is a huge hotel with only two small dining rooms. We were touring for three days and had very little time to go out searching for other restaurants. Consequently it was hard to get dinner without a huge wait. Our hotel reservation was made through Norwegian Cruise Lines. I've already recommended they check out other hotels for the future due to the lack of dining facilities.

Great Location and Amazing Service at the Pool

This hotel has a fantastic location. The availability of beach chairs and towels is also a huge plus, especially because the hotel is directly across from the main beach in Waikiki. But the biggest strength of this hotel are Khai and Dado who work at the pool and Swim restaurant/bar. Those guys are the best employees we have ever seen at any hotel ever. We had great experiences all over the island, but relaxing evenings by the pool just about every night really made this a great experience. Those two guys make this hotel great.
