Nice Place
Rooms were clean and staff was nice. Breakfast was average and acceptable for it's purpose. I would stay there again when I return. Close to the freeway for quick access to the various locations I was attending.

Nice clean property in a convenient location
This new property is very nice. The This hotel location right off the 17 is great. Even having a room facing towards the highway was not very loud. I love staying at the at Hyatt Places when I travel because they are always clean and the free breakfast is quite a lot of good food. I would stay here again.

Don’t stay here! Move on, find another place!
This property gets a Zero star. We were given a room on the top floor, #422. When we entered the room all I could see was stained carpet everywhere. That just gave me me the impression that the entire room is filthy. I asked to be moved to another room. Nathan was kind enough to show me the room 131, before moving. The room also had stained dirty carpet. I agreed to move as the sofa didn’t look as grossly filthy as room 422. We were supposed to stay there 3 nights, but requested to check out the following day. There was no way we would stay another night. I was told they deep cleaned their carpet monthly. Obviously not true as the carpet wouldn’t look the way they do. I think front desk are told by management to tell the guest that. When you first walk into the hotel, it’s very clean, modern and updated. The rooms are totally the opposite, filthy and dated. We hung out in the lobby area after breakfast as it was cleaner then the rooms. For the price we paid, we could’ve stayed in a newer property for the same price. The shower diverter was stuck that it caused the cold water not to flow through the shower head, so we had a very very warm to hot shower. The closet door was stuck, it wouldn’t close. Melted ice cream was left in the refrigerator. The only good thing about the room was nice fluffy pillows and clean sheets. Breakfast was good. But no one was around to keep it clean up. I give Nathan, front desk manager, 5 star. Poor kid probably don’t get the support he needs from management to keep the guest satisfied. I won’t be surprised if management doesn’t comment on my review as none of the other reviews were not.

Terrible
The worst Hyatt I have ever stayed in and one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. That was a bad Motel 6 level. I can’t believe there is a manager who works and check the rooms. And if there is then they should be fired immediately.

Good value for keeping things simple
I use this property regularly for my business in town. It's convenient to I-17, it's the least expensive Hyatt property in the PHX metro area, and it meets my needs for being a good in/out place to get rest, to have a small but useful gym, and a room that has the basics to support my travel. And their front desk person (Scott) is wonderful.
